In 2005, Erica Wakerly graduated from the Royal College of Art, where she specialised in surface design for interiors. Since then she's wasted no time, launching her first collection of wallpapers in 2006 in New York at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) and in London at 100% Design, where she won the 100% Design Bursary. The designs used on her wallpapers mix perspective, reflection, texture and contrast to create a type of wall decoration that's a million miles away from most people's ideas of wallpaper.

The judges loved the shimmering qualities of the geometric, silvery Angles paper, and also praised the textural nature of Desert. Overall, they felt that Erica has created a varied wallpaper collection to suit modern and eclectic interiors.
