June - propagate new plants

plants illustration
Propagate new plants
Peg down shoots and runners from climbers such as clematis, wisteria or akebia. Make little wire hairpins to hold them in place against the soil. Where they touch the soil, roots should develop. In autumn or the following spring, separate new plants and pot up.
