Pipping the 400-strong competition to the post with her Tipsy Blackberry and Apple Cupcake recipe, Linda impressed the judging panel, which included chef Brian Turner and Jane Asher herself, at the 4 October bake-off. The competition was launched two years ago to promote the simple delights of baking and continues to go from strength to strength.
