Caroline Moratti
After graduating from Otago University with an MA in Media Communications and a BA in English and Classics, I fell headfirst into the world of magazines — and never looked back. I began as Staff Writer and then Culture Editor at Critic Te Arohi, and later became Managing Editor at Massive Magazine, writing across lifestyle and culture. My heart has always belonged to interiors, and in 2022 I was lucky enough to become Deputy Editor at Your Home and Garden. But the call of England — and a few thatched-roof cottages — proved irresistible, and in 2024 I made the move from New Zealand to London. Now, I'm Newsletter Editor for Homes & Gardens and Cucina, where I write about everything from soft furnishings to the perfect kitchen colour scheme. My personal style leans rustic-bohemian with a love of character features — and yes, I spend far too much time dreaming about hardwood floors (but who doesn’t?).
