Emma Beryl Kemper
Emma Beryl Kemper is the founder and principal designer of Emma Beryl Interiors, a New York–based design studio known for its sophisticated yet livable spaces that balance classic refinement with contemporary ease. With a discerning eye for colour, materiality, and form, Emma brings a distinct sensibility to her projects—elevating everyday living through interiors that are both functional and emotionally resonant.
Emma launched her studio after earning her degree from the New York School of Interior Design and working with several esteemed firms. She quickly gained recognition for her ability to blend global influences with tailored architectural detailing and a deep sensitivity to her clients’ lives and tastes. Her work spans residential and boutique commercial projects, with an emphasis on spaces that feel layered, personal, and timeless.
Emma’s interiors have been featured in top publications such as Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, House Beautiful, Domino, Luxe Interiors + Design, and The Wall Street Journal, among others. She has been named a Next Wave Designer by House Beautiful and included in Elle Decor’s A-List, marking her as one of the most promising talents in American interiors today.
In addition to her design practice, Emma is also an author. Her first book, The Art of Home, celebrates her approach to creating meaningful interiors through storytelling, eclectic sourcing, and a modern eye for proportion. The book reflects her belief that every space should be as expressive as it is functional.
Emma Beryl Interiors continues to grow, with projects across the U.S. and internationally. With a commitment to craftsmanship, layered beauty, and timeless design, Emma leads with both creativity and clarity—designing homes that feel equally elevated and intimately lived in.
