She continues, 'To prevent the space from feeling too heavy or dark, balance the warmth of wood with lighter colors and materials. Incorporate plenty of natural light through strategically placed windows or skylights to illuminate the space and enhance the beauty of the wood.'

Alternatively, textured wood can provide the visual interest that the aforementioned features would. As we can see in Gisele's kitchen, the rest of the space is quite minimal, featuring a white backsplash and simple wood shelf, which allow the cabinets to shine.

The uniformity of the wood in Gisele's kitchen, such as the cabinets, the countertops, and the shelf, creates a seamless nature that Lichtenstein says is encouraged in a natural kitchen.

'Incorporate wood elements into every aspect of the room, from flooring and furniture to accent pieces and decor,' she says. 'Choose furniture with clean lines and simple silhouettes to allow the beauty of the wood to shine through. 'Natural wood cabinets provide a neutral backdrop that can easily adapt to different color schemes and decor styles in any kitchen,' says Deborah Lamberton, General Manager at ASAP Restoration. 'Natural cabinets can be paired with a wide range of countertop materials, backsplashes, and hardware finishes. This allows for nearly endless customization options to suit individual tastes, preferences, and locations.'

To optimize wood's appearance, Lamberton recommends combining different lights to highlight the unique finish of the material.

'Lighting plays a crucial role in emphasizing the beauty of natural wood cabinets, or just any kitchen space in general,' she explains. 'Incorporate a combination of ambient, task, and accent lighting to illuminate the space and showcase both the rich tones and fine grains of the wood.'

Finally, when considering which color palettes to pair wood with, Lamberton recommends a classic: neutrals.

'People can balance the warmth of natural wood cabinets with neutral tones such as white, gray, or beige for a safe, but classic look,' she says. 'Use these lighter hues for walls, flooring, or larger furniture pieces to create a sense of balance and harmony with the natural wood cabinet tones in the kitchen.'

Layering a rug over tiles adds an extra textured element; soft rugs such as Gisele's are highly complementary against stone or tiled floors.

'Tiles are increasingly being used as decorative pieces of art in the home,' Martin states. 'Be it your kitchen, bathroom, hallway, or even on the stairs, using tiles within any scheme shows off their beautiful textures and patterns while at once uplifting a space. Mixed media, including combinations of ceramic and stone, are becoming increasingly popular to create contemporary inspired geometric layouts.'

The look is always an interior design trend, and Gisele Bündchen has caught on. Melissa Read, interior designer at Studio Burntwood says, 'The mid-century modern look emphasizes simplicity and functionality, with clean lines, organic shapes, and a focus on the use of natural materials.'

The natural motifs of this style are evident throughout Gisele's space. First of all, her cozy dining room is full of wood. Melissa states: 'Oak and teak wood are commonly used in furniture pieces, often designed with a sculptural quality that adds visual interest to the space.' Karen adds: 'Walnut wood is a signature material across this era, and Gisele showcases it on her dining table and chairs.'

The glass dining room lighting in Gisele's space is another essential, mid-century modern yet contemporary element of the space. Melissa says, 'Sculptural lighting is an essential component of this design, as it helps to define the different zones of the space.' 

Karen continues that the lighting also adds drama to the space. She states: 'The clear glass chandelier floating above branches out in different directions and accentuates the height of the room while still appearing light and airy.'

The entire stunning effect is created by an effective mix of textures in the design. Melissa states: 'The mix of materials such as glass, metal, and wood is commonly used in mid-century modern design, adding to the visual interest and texture of the space. The combination of these materials creates a balanced and harmonious aesthetic that is both timeless and modern.'

And unsurprisingly, Rande is not alone in her support for this hue. New York-based decor expert Daria Musinova similarly notes how the tone is 'increasingly popular' – from kitchen walls like Gisele's to smaller accessories that allow us to tap into the trend almost instantly.

'In my observation, blue-gray has become increasingly popular in interiors. This versatile color can be used in various ways, from wall colors to decorative elements,' she says. 'The tone creates a calming and serene ambiance in any space and pairs well with many colors.'

'As an artist, I always look for innovative ways to incorporate new color trends into my creations. Gray-blue has become one of my favorite colors to work with, as it adds a sophisticated and luxurious touch to any space,' Daria explains.

However, her organized and meditative approach appears to be successful. 'I have to tell you, having a moment to free yourself, to breathe, to really just nourish yourself first, I think it goes a long way,' Gisele adds. 'For me, when I don't do it, I feel a huge difference.'

The model also owns an $11.5 million home in Surfside, Florida, a modest $1.3 million Florida cottage, and a Miami Beach property (the latter with her former husband, Tom Brady).

The estate is perhaps the most notable of Tom Brady's houses, dominating a chunk of land in the 'world's most exclusive municipality.' It is one of only 34 properties available across 300 acres that boast waterfront views of Biscayne Bay, located on the Atlantic coast of South Florida.

As one of the world's best homes, the property was a natural choice for Tom and Gisele, who planned to reside there permanently with their children, Benjamin Rein, and Vivian Lake Brady. However, the Daily Mail reports that, despite their separation, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback has continued to build and renovate the property. 

The British newspaper recently captured aerial photos that show 'production has moved forward exponentially' since its first look at the home in September 2022. Initially, Tom and Gisele knocked down a pre-existing 5,772-square-foot home with plans to create a modern eco-friendly mansion on the land. 

Creating an eco-home was inevitable for Gisele, a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Environmental Program since 2009. 

'The environment has always been my passion. Mother Earth is our fundamental life-support system, and by becoming aware and responsible now, we can assist in preserving the planet,' the model shared in a statement for the UN.'The damage we are doing to the environment affects us all. While her and Tom Brady's houses were shared, it is believed that he still lives in their $17 million home located on the Miami island, across the water from Surfside. The couple had planned to renovate the home into a stylish but environmentally friendly space, as Gisele is famed for her stance on sustainability.

The supermodel has been a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Environment Program since 2009 – a role in which she advocates for biodiversity and wildlife. It is likely, therefore, that Gisele Bündchen will design her new home in an eco-conscious way. However, she has the perfect natural canvas for her decorating ideas. 

The listing says that the property has a home theater, gym, and office, alongside its spacious living room. The property also epitomizes luxe white kitchen ideas with its marble kitchen island and dining space that opens up to a patio. It is likely, but not confirmed, that the couple's two children, Vivian Lake Brady and Benjamin Rein will live in the home with their mother.

After months of highly publicized marital problems, Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady officially announced their split just weeks ago but sale documents reveal that the fashion model has been seeking out her own space for far longer. 

A drastic change from Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen's home from before their divorce, Gisele purchased a modest three-bedroom family home in Surfside, Florida in February this year – and now she is looking to renovate the space. 

This is what we know about the $1.3 million cottage. 

First reported by the New York Post, the model completed the purchase quietly at the end of February of this year, around two weeks before her soon-to-be ex-husband's shock NFL comeback. 

The listing was initially held by One Sotheby's realty with the property described as a 'charming Art Deco-style cottage'. The 1940s three-bedroomed home also houses two-and-a-half bathrooms spread over 1,540 square feet – a much smaller footprint than the Gisele is perhaps used to with many of Tom Brady's houses boasting mansion-like sizes. 

Despite recently being renovated, records have shown that Gisele has handed over control to luxury construction company Ivey Design Build to change up the property yet again. The property as it stands boasts an airy open-plan layout, making the most of swathes of natural light that flow throughout the property. The open-plan kitchen currently boasts an oversized marble waterfall island, breakfast bar, all-white cabinetry and backsplash ideas, and top-of-the-range stainless steel appliances. The open plan space flows to the living-entry space too with the modestly sized family room sporting a brick faux fireplace, dining area, and real hardwood floors throughout.

While certainly, no match for the exes' unfinished $27 million Miami beach mansion (which sits just a short walk away from the cottage) the master suite features a spa-like bathroom retreat complete with batt, glass-encased walk-in shower, and dual vanities.  

Outside, the property has a small, contained lawn area framed by tall green hedges as well as a small raised outdoor patio, perfect for grabbing some fresh air away from prying eyes. The front is no less unassuming either, with a brick driveway leading to a rather quaint front entry 

According to some sources, it is not decided whether the property will be a small escape for the mother and her children, or whether it will be used to house visit relatives or a nanny. With the property's close proximity to some of Miami's best schools, however, it could be seen as a tempting location for Gisele's two children, whom she and Brady plan to co-parent together. 

Despite its diminutive size and modest appearance, the property has some famous neighbors, with the likes of Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner also owning property in the area. 

It is unknown what will become of the properties the couple shared together, such as their Manhattan condo and Yellowstone estate in light of the divorce although it is clear that Gisele is making moves away from Brady as she focuses on healing after previously putting her modeling career on the back burner in favor of traveling with Brady and the children.

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen's last investment was a $17 million home in the aptly named 'Billionaire's Bunker' on Indian Creek Island in Miami. 

A report by Page Six revealed that the couple renovated the property by knocking down the old 5,172-square-foot structure and building a new one in the same spot. 

The new mansion was described as an 'environmentally friendly, well-designed space, as both Tom and Gisele showed interest in home decor ideas in all their properties. The Post also shared that the home was a trove of luxury amenities – complete with a meditation garden, yoga terrace, multiple kitchens, and his-and-hers bathroom suites. 

2. Rental in Tampa Bay, Florida

Before the couple's moved to Indian Creek Island, Tom and Gisele rented Derek Jeter's mansion in Davis Islands, Tampa. Fox 13 revealed that the former professional baseball player built the 22,000-plus square foot house in 2011 before selling it for $22.5 million in 2021. 

With its seven bedrooms,16 bathrooms, and luxury home ideas shown throughout, the mansion was an unsurprising choice for the Brady family. However, while its interiors are impressive, its location was equally suitable for Tom – who was only around 20 minutes from the Buccaneers' Raymond James Stadium (home to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers). 

3. Mansion in Brookline, Massachusetts

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen's mansion in Massachusetts was one of the couple's most beautifully-designed properties – boasting a contemporary country aesthetic through its natural color ideas and statement furnishings. 

The five-bedroom property centers on a 10,000-square-foot manor built by architect Richard Landry, a favorite of the couple (he also designed their home in Brentwood). The house sits adjacent to the 9th hole of The Country Club – the oldest country club in the United States, making it a dream home for those with an interest in golf and the country club scene. 

The pair had first marketed the east coast jewel in the summer of 2020 at $39.5 million; however, it eventually sold for around $7 million less in January 2021. 

4. Apartment in Tribeca, Manhattan 

Local property records indicate Tom and Gisele moved into a prestigious new-build, 70 Vestry, on Tribeca's waterfront. Architect Robert A.M Stern and Daniel Romualdez designed the Manhattan building that attracted the couple enough to move from their north-facing 6,500-square-foot 12th-floor apartment for a smaller unit, also on the 12th floor.

70 Vestry is located on the fringe of Hudson River Park, meaning their apartment came with panoramic water views as a standard. Designer Daniel Romualdez created the 'distinctively modern and warm' interiors that mirror the style of its fashionable postcode. 

5. Home in Big Sky, Montana

Tom and Gisele's home in Montana is rumored to be in the Yellowstone Club, described by the New York Post as a 'super-exclusive development in Montana where the rich and famous, such as Bill Gates,' live. 

Information about the property itself is limited, but reports from the Yellowstone Club site suggest that properties in the area start at $5.7 million, while some sell for up to $30 million. 

Residents are said to enjoy the unrivalled sporting opportunities in the area, including Yellowstone’s golf course and clubhouse, where Tom has been pictured. There is also access to the Big Sky Resort, where the couple can ski on the 5,800 acres of ski slopes, and enjoy the fitness center and yoga classes. 

Late in 2020, Tampa Bay Buccaneers player Tom Brady moved to Indian Creek Island near Miami beach. Then, in March 2022, he announced his retirement, before surprising fans with a return to the team for the 2022 season.
