Dark cabinetry with gold or navy accents keeps the design coordinated without feeling too modern, while glass doors open onto the garden, blurring the line between indoors and outdoors and making the space feel even more connected to the surrounding landscape – a perfect balance of rustic style and Beckham luxury.

As a celebrity style editor, I've taken note of my Diptyque spottings, and these are three of the most noteworthy candles I have seen in celebrity homes.

‘Forest green works really well in bedrooms because its darkness absorbs light to blur hard edges,’ says Rob Abrahams, co-founder and CEO at COAT Paints. But I also like to use it in other spaces where I like to relax, such as the bathroom, dressing room and the snug room. It quiets the mind, and brings just the right amount of calm without being too foreboding.

You can also use mirrors on doors, but if you'd rather not, try Deborah's canny technique. 'Have mirrored panels inside the doors, and a freestanding mirror you can move around.'

‘I use a lot of green because it is very calming,’ says interior designer Sarah Vanrenen. ‘I also love using patterned wallpaper in green. I don’t think space is a barrier to going bold – don’t be put off by using strong colors and patterns in even the smallest spaces and use it on all four walls. Use it on the fifth wall – the ceiling – if you are brave enough. The effect is dramatic and green works with so many other incredible colors, too.’

Introducing mixed materials in the interest of added warmth and texture (alongside their practical benefits) is a lesson we're taking into 2025, but David and Victoria Beckham already set a precedent back in 2022. In their London townhouse, they enlisted the expertise of luxury Italian manufacturer Officine Gullo to design their space – the result is a mixed-material masterclass.

Admired for its high-end metal-based designs and extraordinary range of cookers, Officine Gullo is a kitchen design force. They've known how to mix and match materials for years, as Beckham's space reminds us. To master the mixed material look, Bakes explains that you need to look for areas that can ‘communicate’ with each other – then introduce one different material into each area. This will mean your kitchen still feels curated and cohesive while simultaneously appearing textured (and on-trend).

'There need to be connection points between metallics, with perhaps a single standout like a range hood or metal doors. Some ways to connect metallics are to match the sink fittings and hardware, then choose a different finish for the lighting and accessories,' he says.

While we can't all have a space the size of Beckham's, we can still tap into the kitchen trend with one of their stand-out metals: copper. The couple hung copper pans above their island, resulting in instant warmth and charm. The best part is that this material is accsessible in every kind of kitchen.

'Copper adds instant warmth to a space. Hammered copper adds texture against smooth, cool materials such as marble, which can be a great juxtaposition. Copper is also a transitional material and can flow easily between design styles,' comments Naomi Neilson, the founder and CEO of Native Trails.

'Copper mixes well with other warm tones such as polished nickel, light gold, and various shades of bronze,' Neilson says.

'When used as a primary color in a room, blue can anchor the space, providing a stable backdrop that allows other elements to shine. This versatility makes blue a go-to for designers seeking to create interiors that are both stylish and serene.'

A new year is the perfect excuse to spruce up our homes and experiment with new pieces, and for 2025, we are thinking of ways to incorporate color into our spaces.

Leave it to fashion designer Victoria Beckham to reshape clothing storage as we know it. The actress uses glass cabinets to organize her hanging garments and shoes, and I think it's completely brilliant.

I spotted Beckham's closet organization idea in a TikTok posted by her husband, David Beckham, trying out her latest hand cream release for VB beauty. Though he gave the lotion a rave review, I was paying much more attention to the color-coordinated, length-aligned clothing articles and neatly arranged shoes in the background. Though I've seen clear organizers before, I had never seen it done with this level of skill or precision. Each item has its exact place. It's stylish, functional, and easy to use.

Many of the benefits of the design for organizing clothes come from the glass cabinets. First, these clear doors protect clothes from dust, moths, and grime. This is the type of care that may even help your clothes to last for longer. Due to their clear fronts, these doors make it easy to get dressed in the morning. It is simple to see everything that you have laid out in front of you and pick an outfit with all of the tools at your disposal.

If you are just as transfixed as I am, luckily, the clothing storage in Beckham's dressing room is easy to recreate in any size closet. To replicate the look, start with buying a set of enough hangers to hang all of your clothes (I swear by these velvet hangers from Amazon for their non-slip properties). Part of this space's beauty is its uniformity; using the same hangers will make the closet look instantly organized and put together.

To further streamline, you can organize your items by their height within the closet. For instance, long dresses go next to jumpsuits, blouses go next to blazers, medium-length coats go next to other medium-length coats.

Victoria and David Beckham's Cotswolds home has been well-documented via both the documentary, Beckham, and their respective social media accounts. The converted barn is a sight to behold, with additions of a pizza oven and sauna in the historic property.

Recently, we couldn't help but admire a unique fixture in the home that really elevates the space: an ornate chandelier. In a post shared to the Victoria Beckham Beauty page, we can see the former Spice Girl and businesswoman in a high-ceilinged sitting room, with a magnificent chandelier hanging above. The wood panels are instantly made chic thanks to the delicate details of the lighting piece – a perfect of example of contrasting hard materials with dainty ones.

Experts say that in a space with high ceilings, such as the Beckham's, it is important to have a lighting source that will be dispersed evenly across a room. This means that larger fixtures are a great lighting idea for these expansive spaces.

'High ceilings are a common trope of Victorian properties, but unlike Georgian period homes, they don’t always benefit so much from large windows, as they often have a mix in sizing,' says interior designer and advisor to Vinterior, Zoe Newson. 'This means having evenly spread lighting is integral to maintaining a bright, welcoming space like a hallway or stairwell.'

With that being said, Newson mentions that one chandelier should not be solely relied on as a source of light.

'Make the most of the high ceilings with a feature chandelier and then use a mixture of table and standing lamps to light the corners the overhead light doesn’t reach,' she says.

We can see in Beckham's video clip that there is a table lamp behind her to give the room an extra source of light.

Finally, while the Beckhams have opted for a more traditional and antique-inspired chandelier, Newson says that high ceilings allow for versatility with lighting fixtures. Those who prefer contemporary fixtures can just as easily implement a modern piece in a restored home.

'The high ceilings and often uniquely shaped rooms give you the opportunity to really get creative, mixing and matching vintage and modern lighting pieces together and experimenting with varied textures and colors, such as a patterned lampshade or metal anglepoise wall light,' Newson states.
