Homes & Gardens Anthology is a richer, more thoughtful perspective on the world of design: a place for the ideas, interiors, and voices that deserve more space, thought, and time.

For more than 100 years, Homes & Gardens has told stories about living beautifully. In recent years, those stories have found a devoted digital readership in the United States. Anthology extends that relationship into print: a large-format, biannual publication made to be kept, collected, revisited, and enjoyed slowly.

Print offers something different. It gives stories room to breathe, lets photography have scale and allows ideas to unfold over pages rather than seconds. In an increasingly fast-moving digital world, Anthology is deliberately slower and more considered.

The first issue explores the enduring relationship between British and American design. For centuries, ideas about houses, gardens, furniture, color, craft, and comfort have crossed the Atlantic in both directions. Today, that exchange feels more reciprocal, relevant, and interesting than ever.

The name reflects the spirit of the magazine. An anthology is a gathering: of voices, places, images, ideas, and points of view, brought together to form something greater. Anthology does the same, bringing together extraordinary homes, original thinking, intimate profiles, cultural commentary, and a considered edit of the people, places, and objects worth knowing. You can see behind the scenes of our first cover shoot, here.

Alongside the biannual print edition, Anthology lives online here every week, with the latest stories, musings, interviews, and discoveries from our Anthologists: a collective of leading editors, designers, makers, and tastemakers shaping interiors today.

Informed by an English eye but international in outlook, Anthology is curious, characterful and occasionally irreverent. It is our invitation to spend a little more time with the ideas and people shaping the way we live.
