Bethenny Frankel says this affordable but 'expensive-looking' silverware set is the perfect stand-in for an iconic $2,050 version – recreate the look for under $60
Store your flatware in style with the RHONY's flashy (but affordable) egg-shaped flatware recommendation – and get the look no matter your budget

If anyone knows luxury homewares, it's Bethenny Frankel. The former Real Housewife of New York and business mogul has spent decades amongst the finest, so she knows how to spot it. That means she's also amazing at finding luxury lookalikes for less.
We're always looking for the best flatware sets, so when Bethenny shares her picks on Instagram, we are inclined to listen. In a recent video, she holds up what looks like a massive silver egg. She explains: 'There's a creator on here, Becca Bloom, that people love and is adorable, and she has this silver set. She has the Christofle one. I have it also. I got it as a gift years ago. I never even took it out. I just like knowing that it's there.' A quick Google search reveals that the ultra-luxury silver-plated Christofle Mood Egg will run you up by $2,050. Though it's a stunning and iconic original, it's definitely not a budget-friendly buy.
However, Bethenny's recommendation for the best cutlery set is not from Christofle. Instead, she opts for the $350 Stainless Steel Godinger Egg Flatware set. She explains: 'This is from Amazon. While it's not exact, I have to say, it's pretty amazing. I mean it's not cheap, but. It's substantial, heavy, and expensive-looking quality.' At $1,700 less than the original, this all sounds pretty good to us.

Shop Cutlery Eggs
To get an idea of what we're talking about, view both the Christofle and Godinger sets below. Not only do they look stunning, but are built to heirloom-level quality.
For those who want an even more affordable option, we tracked down a stunning storage lookalike at Walmart. Made of durable stainless steel, it's only $58.
This stunning silver set stores utensils for six people in style. It is the original egg utensil case, and the most luxurious on the market. It has a recognizable silhouette that brings designer style to every home.
This more modestly priced (but still expensive) stainless steel set has all the style of the Christofle mood egg without the price tag. It includes 25 pieces to serve 8 people.
This Walmart egg utensil set is the steal of the century. It holds 24 pieces of flatware to serve 8 people and is dishwasher safe for easy use.
Shop Alternative Utensil Holders
As many people in the comments pointed out, not everyone likes metallics and this large, egg-shaped vessel doesn't fit in every kitchen. Luckily, there are hundreds of alternatives to store flatware. Here are just a few of my favorite organizers for storing your silverware in styles that don't look like a Christofle Mood Egg.
If you love the egg shape, but hate the metallic finish, this plastic flatware container is for you. The embedded rotating base makes it easy to use and easy to store.
For a more traditional look, this bamboo flatware organizer will keep all of your silverware organized, while keeping it safe in a drawer. I love the way the natural wood complements the metallic flatware.
To switch up your silverware storage, try a wicker basket. It's the perfect homey touch to warm your countertops while keeping everything organized.
Whether you have a luxury budget or just want the luxury look, knowing all of the available options is the best place to start. Luckily, Homes & Gardens is here to do your research for you.
