Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have one of the most enviable homes in Hollywood, with seemingly new corners of their expertly decorated abode popping up on their respective social media pages, and thus, providing us with ample interior design inspo.

Our latest fixation comes from an unexpected area: their home podcast studio, which, much like the rest of their contemporary, cozy house, features striking details and soft furnishings. We are particularly taken by the industrial-style, burnished metal accent wall in the space, which complements the neutral scheme beautifully.

Design experts say that burnished metallics are part of an overall elevated yet cozy palette that is taking over this season and into the next several months.

'This autumn and winter, interiors are embracing nature’s most comforting tones,' says real estate expert Michael Smith from Bluefield Realty Group. 'The 2025 palette moves away from stark contrasts and towards rich, layered harmony, drawing inspiration from Pantone, Dulux, and leading design week forecasts. These shades bring a sense of balance and calm that feels especially relevant in today’s homes.'

He continues, 'This season’s colors are designed to make interiors feel grounded, comforting, and effortlessly elegant. When used thoughtfully, they elevate a space without overwhelming it. Warm neutrals and muted tones create a backdrop that feels sophisticated yet inviting, while subtle metallics like burnished gold add just the right touch of refinement.'

While not all of us can incorporate a statement wall like Chrissy and John's, try incorporating burnished metallics through smaller accessories, like a brass vase, like this one from West Elm, or copper sconce. The look is versatile and timeless.
