Claudia Schiffer named her new dishware collection after her mother – the sentimental pieces make the perfect fall table setting
Whether you opt for a leaf-shaped platter or a deliciously scented candle, fall decor is a time to experiment with warm colors and soft textures
Claudia Schiffer's main red carpet accessory may be her adorable cat, Chip, but the Argyle star has recently tapped into the fall season with a new collection of kitchen items.
The actor and model, who has partnered with Bordallo Pinheiro in the past, has just unveiled the Gudrun collection, which focuses on beautiful fall decor in seasonal colors and shiny finishes.
Fall decor can come in many forms, and while Schiffer's collection takes a literal approach with leaf- and acorn-shaped accessories, we are believers that colors, materials and even scents can evoke the autumn spirit. Rich browns, soft velvets, and fragrances that are reminiscent of baked goods and crisp air are all essentials when it comes to fall decor; it's why so many of us can't wait to decorate for the season. Schiffer herself is a fan of this time of year.

'Autumn, with its falling leaves and acorns, holds a special place in my heart,' Schiffer states on the Bordallo Pinheiro website. 'Growing up, I cherished witnessing the transformation of the colors and leaping into piles of leaves meticulously gathered by my mother in our garden. We would then dry those leaves to create beautiful artwork. The ceramics I crafted are designed for my mid-century wooden tables and help to infuse my home with the warm hues of fall. They also find a place in my weekend countryside retreats, where they contribute cozy colors alongside a crackling fire. I take joy in how these ceramics introduce a subtle touch to the living space, pairing beautifully with green hydrangeas, an autumn classic.'
