'Introducing metallic accents is a wonderful way to add a touch of festive sparkle to a neutral palette. Silver, gold, and copper tones work beautifully in a black-and-white space, creating a sense of understated glamour. Think shimmering baubles, metallic candle holders, or a decorative tray with a mirrored finish.'
Beyond the tree, Jordan explains you can maintain a chic home over Christmas by layering textures. This is important in every space, but none more so than a neutral room. 'Think of layers of natural materials like wool, linen, sheepskin, and wood. A chunky knit throw draped over a sofa, a sheepskin rug warming the floor, and a collection of wooden candle holders on the mantelpiece – these elements add warmth and visual interest without relying on color.'
