What happens when a rare legacy estate meets great interior design instincts, some fresh paint, and a sprinkling of celebrity charm? Drew Barrymore's house in Harrison, New York, of course! After spending the last two years renovating the property, Drew is ready to sell the home for $4,995,000.
Listed by Kori Sassower at Compass, the 1747-built property is a gem of architecture and design. Working in collaboration with Christina Nielsen Design, Drew transformed the Westchester County property into a modern, yet charming 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom home. The property also features a guest cottage and a pool house, offering ample room to spread out and settle in. Its decor is a stunning mix of modern cottage with a warm, Arts and Crafts vibe interspersed.
Let's take the tour. Here you will see many of the spaces designed by Drew, with upgraded features to reflect a modern lifestyle. I've also curated an edit of products to help you replicate the design in your own home, in case you aren't ready to relocate to Harrison.

Recreate Dining Nook at Home
Small dining rooms meet their match with this 42-inch, rounded table, with a contemporary feel and fluted pattern. It would be the perfect accent in a breakfast nook to add both function and flair.
This vintage-style flower still life is a classic choice that will hang proudly amongst other styles or with a collection of similar antique-inspired pieces.
Crafted from rubberwood, this charming chair features a series of braces that add visual appeal as well as stability. I love its curved seatback (in the Windsor style) that completes the aesthetic in fine form, making this chair a perfect pairing for any breakfast nook.
A modern depiction of William Morris's iconic trellis design, this piece incorporates winged birds for a breezy feel. Rosy reds and fresh greens intertwine to finish off the vibrant look.
Table runners are a great choice for long rectangular tables. It creates a zone for decor and platters without impeding on each diner's space. This blue floral design feels right on theme for a spring table, especially if you're opting for a more maximalist scheme.
Drew uses two red lamps above her fireplace to create a bold and welcoming look. These Addison Ross home bobbins are the perfect choice.
Moving past the dining room, Drew Barrymore's living room is one of the most striking features of this property. I love the blue and red color palette she's chosen, but it's the neutral bones and high ceilings that really make it pop.

Is there anything more charming than a wood kitchen? This one exudes warmth with Drew-designed built-ins. It would be the perfect place to display antique pottery and stoneware.

We can't believe a bathroom can be so stunning. This tiny space packs a large design punch with the wooden details, brass light fixture, and pink sink. It's romantic, yet practical.
Sometimes, light is an element of design, and this is undoubtably the case in this cozy reading corner. The high ceilings and large windows make good use of the large property, highlighting the beautifully private outdoor space. It's so dreamy.

Cottage decorating ideas are in no short supply in this home, and this pretty chaise longue adds yet another. The blue walls and brass appliances make it look elevated, no matter the decor.
