No, white sofas aren't going anywhere in 2026. Though the neutral shade has been the premier couch color for decades now, with the right styling, it can still look current. Case in point, Kendall Jenner's living room.

Kendall purchased her Spanish-style villa in the Mulholland Estates gated community for $8.55 million in October 2017. Built in 1991, the estate boasts a peaceful, farmhouse energy that Kendall has chicly accentuated with her decor choices. The model worked with Kathleen and Tommy Clements alongside Waldo Fernandez to transform it into a tranquil retreat, awash in characterful neutrals, and the white sofa living room is perhaps one of the best spaces in the home. Natural materials, curved furnishings, and colorful accent pillows (like these from Anthropologie), turn the room unique and modern.

Rather than creating interest through color, Kendall's mostly white living room updates the color by incorporating intrigue with shape. Through her curved couch, interesting coffee table, and the tree in the background, the room is full of lines to distract the eye.

Magdalena Gierasinska, design expert at Barker and Stonehouse, explains: 'Increasingly, consumers want their homes to feel characterful and reflective of their style and personality. Adding artwork to the space is one way to achieve this, but there is also a growing interest in furniture and accessories that function as artwork in their own right. In the living room, this might mean choosing a sofa with a sculptural, expressive form. And it doesn’t have to be loud to be artful – a neutral, occasional chair with a curved form feels quietly elegant, yet speaks volumes by adding artistry to the space.'

Her use of natural materials like jute, marble, and wood also helps add to the warm, organic feel in this space that makes a white sofa feel vibrant and fun. The entire space is cocooning, transforming white from something that looks stark to a shade that fits in with the entire flow of the room. These materials help add texture to the space, keeping a neutral palette interesting.

Finally, Kendall's designers have incorporated accent colors with the yellow and pink decorative pillows on her white sofa. The silky texture of these cushions and their vibrant surface make the sofa feel instantly alive. All together, these additions make Kendall Jenner's sofa feel current and stylish in a way that will never fade.
