Indoors, nostalgia has been influencing every trend, from bringing back the once-forgotten kitchen hatch to layering the bed with vintage patchwork quilts. This love of the past and the layered, personality-filled spaces it can create has touched every room, and now it's going outside.

Now, maybe we aren't quite ready to pop a collection of sunbathing garden gnomes on our front porch, but we are all for adding charm and character to a yard with tasteful structures and statues. It's hardly a surprise that this summer saw the return of the porch goose.
