Styling surfaces like shelving, coffee tables, consoles, and countertops is my personal favorite part of a room design. It's the finishing touch, it's how you bring character and personality, and texture into any room. Playing around with vignettes and re-styling spaces to make a room feel different is something I do very regularly, so I like to invest in a few new pieces every season that will help me switch up these spaces quickly and effectively.

So when I saw designer Amber Lewis had revealed her own favorite pieces that she uses to do exactly that, I paid attention. Her shopping list is full of key decor that she relies on to help effortlessly style vignettes, elevate surfaces, and instantly add interest to a room.

Known for her modern rustic style, Amber Lewis not only designs enviable homes but also runs an irresistibly chic homeware brand, Shoppe Amber Interiors. So Amber's look could not be easy to recreate, and she took to Instagram to name her staple pieces.

'I get asked all the time, "What do you love from Shoppe that we can use to help style, make little vignettes, use on a shelf, use on a coffee table?" So, we're going to review it. Here are my faves.'

Amber Lewis' timeless design style can be described as warm minimalism with a touch of rustic thrown in. To mirror this aesthetic and create a space that feels contemporary, cozy, and curated, incorporate some of Amber's go-to picks, which are bound to elevate any room and provide a dose of charm, patina, and character.
