I’m Obsessed with This Season’s Most Elegant Table Decor Trend – Anthropologie's Chic Bow Range is On Sale Right Now

Bows are having a moment in interior design, and now tableware, thanks to Anthropologie's chic range for Christmas and beyond

Bows may not be new, but recently, this timelessly chic motif has been popping up everywhere in the world of interiors. It was spotting some beautiful bow-adorned tableware in Homes & Gardens' How I Host with Skye McAlpine video that really piqued my interest. Soon after, I discovered the stunning Benedita Bow dinnerware collection at Anthropologie, which includes festive red and luxe gold bow motifs on classic white stoneware, and it was love at first sight.

I've been thinking about this beautiful range ever since, but I've also just discovered there's a rather nice early Christmas present of 30% off. Thank goodness for my inability to make decisions – it's finally paid off. However, now I'm struck with yet another choice, as since it's discounted, I can add even more to my cart.

One thing's for sure, I won't be missing out on the cherry red bow border dinner plates, as I think they'll set the tone for my nostalgic, yet subtly kitsch Christmas table decor ideas. A couple of statement gold bow plates in the mix will really certainly help to make my Christmas table look expensive without costing me a fortune. And if I want to pare things back a little I'll opt for the white ceramic stoneware platter.

But it's not only plates and serveware that are being adorned with bow motifs. These gold bow candle holders will take pride of place in the center of my table, and this Jolly icon stemless glass is just irresistible.

When it comes to the bow trend, though, be wary, as less is more. A subtle touch here and there to tie the look together works perfectly with some plain linens and mixed and matched with classic, unadorned pieces. More subtle touches like these Benedita bow wine glasses can make a real impact if you keep the rest of the scheme simple and elegant.

Consider what you will be serving, too. A showstopping Christmas dessert will make an effortlessly elevated centerpiece on the Benedita Bow cakestand in white and served with the stainless steel bow cake serve set. Or you could lean into the Anthopologie pearl holiday collection, and opt for dainty pearl bow details like these Perla bow napkin rings.

Whatever your preference I think it's safe to say that the bow tableware trend isn't going anwhere and the holiday season is the perfect time to embrace it, with gifting and hosting in mind. Here's my pick of the pieces to add to your cart now, before the sale ends.
