I'm seeing rattan tableware at all the most gorgeous garden parties and events this summer, and I predict this is a trend that will stick around, thanks to the timeless sophistication it brings to the table (literally).

We're already fans of the enduring charm of rattan furniture, which, although isn't new in interior design, is definitely having a moment. Head of Interiors, Hebe Hatton, says, 'I love adding texture to a table, and I'm increasingly seeing rattan trickle down into tableware, which adds depth and interest.'

Aleah Valley, Co-founder of events company, Valley & Co, adds, 'from oversized chargers to decorative napkin rings and wrapped candleholders, the uses for rattan in entertaining are endless. Hosts can balance the space by weaving in rattan elements that bring warmth to the overall table aesthetic.'

The good news is that I've found some gorgeous pieces for your table, and they're all on sale – keep an eye on the Memorial Day home sales, too, for great deals – so you can shop the rattan tableware trend and save, too.

If you love the rattan tableware trend and are interested in investing in some rattan outdoor furniture, too, find out why rattan furniture is so popular and how to look after it, so you can be informed before parting with your cash.
