Ripples were announced winners at the kbbreview Retail & Design Awards 2020 at an awards ceremony held at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole hotel.
The awards ceremony celebrates the talent within the UK brands and established bathroom retailer Ripples was delighted to be a finalist for the award of Best Bathroom Design over £25k.
Senior Designer at Ripples Bournemouth Ana Rezende delivered an Art Deco-inspired bathroom complete with a bespoke iron panel, panelled mirror and a freestanding traditional bath.
‘The clients were looking for a complete refurbishment on their Victorian property however they wanted to keep the character of the property in-tact,’ says Senior Designer at Ripples Ana Rezende. ‘I approached this bathroom with the brief in mind, to create a comfortable, spacious and relaxing atmosphere.
She started out by suggesting grey panels as a backdrop and then brought in a feature antique mirror to compliment the traditional look as well as a white freestanding bath. The bespoke iron modesty panel is a highlight feature in the room and one of the clients favourite elements, adding personality and a focal point when you step in’
‘It’s great news to see a Ripples designer winning such a fantastic award that demonstrates the excellent work Ripples do for clients across the showrooms. We are incredibly proud of Ana and the beautiful design she has presented here,’ said Ripples Manager Director Paul Crow.
Ripples was founded in 1988 by Roger and Sandra Kyme. With 13 showrooms, Ripples has become famed for designing and creating bespoke bathroom spaces, with talented bathroom designers each individually hand drawing their bathroom designs and embracing the challenge of creating unique bathrooms that are tailored to your individual needs.
