Forget Reds and Golds: Kaley Cuoco’s Minimalist Christmas Tree Shows How Chic, Nature-Inspired Decor Is Dominating 2025
The actress's tree features an array of white and cream ornaments, showing us that a lack of color is chic as ever for holiday decor
The countdown to Christmas is on, and as such, it's the perfect time to start planning out your decor scheme. Our latest inspo comes from Kaley Cuoco, whose classic green tree is adorned with an array of white and cream ornaments and lights.
In a post shared to her Instagram page, we can see that the Big Bang Theory star has opted for a fairly natural tree, resisting color in favor of a uniform, nature-inspired tree.
While reds and metallics are often go-tos, this chic, elevated scheme evokes shades of the ever-popular quiet luxury trend, and designers say it's right on trend for the 2025 season.

These modern rustic ornaments are so good you might want to buy multiple sets. Well-made and pretty, I imagine they will be a permanent fixture on trees year after year.
No Christmas tree is complete without lights. These simple white string lights provide the perfect base, giving your tree a soft, even glow. Take the time to weave them carefully through the branches, tucking them in so they aren’t just on the surface. This way, the tree looks full and beautiful even when the lights are off.
A fun and playful addition, I have been desperate to get my hands on these pasta ornaments since I first laid eyes on them. They'll be the talk of my tree come Christmas Day.
According to design experts, tree decor that takes cues from the natural world will be dominating holiday trends this year, thanks to its calming and elegant properties.
'Interior trends have taken inspiration from our surroundings, and the same will be applied to Christmas decor,' says Josh Branigan, furniture and home interiors expert at Cuckooland.
'Incorporating natural elements into interiors creates a serene space that helps us feel grounded and comforted. Nature-inspired tones, like warm browns, beiges, and muted greens, add warmth and sophistication, and this mood will be incorporated into festive decorating.'
To achieve the look, Josh suggests starting with a base of a real tree rather than a faux one, as well as incorporating ornaments from nature (in addition to neutral ones, like Kaley's). I particularly love these white ornaments from Amazon, perfect for recreating Kaley's pared-back style.

'Opt for a real Christmas tree instead of an artificial one, incorporate nature into festive trimmings where possible, such as foraged elements like pinecones, dried citrus, and evergreen boughs, and add frosty tones to imitate a White Christmas,' he tells us. If anybody has the perfect blueprint for our Christmas tree design this year, it's Kaley.
