When I first laid eyes on Kate Hudson's serene kitchen, it was hard to miss the vibrant blue marble. Applied to her countertops and backsplash, the striking material enthralled me. However, after taking a longer look at the space, a small but thoughtful detail quietly caught my attention.

An alcove designed for washing up (as well as taking in the views), I couldn't help but admire Kate's charming kitchen sink station. Enclosed in a panelled nook, this simple but inspired detail romanticizes the daily chore of doing the dishes.

Of course, the competent layout, state-of-the-art appliances, and bespoke cabinetry are tell-tale signs of a good design, but I can't help but admire the sink area in Kate Hudson's blue jean baby kitchen. Simple but inspiring, its positioning makes washing up feel so much more enjoyable.

Paying homage to her childhood home, Kate Hudson's kitchen is the perfect blend of old and new. Breathing new life into the space but keeping the color palette the same traditional blue and white, it's a refreshingly light-filled room that couldn't be more inspiring to cook in.

While it's hard to miss the marble countertops and backsplash, the quiet simplicity of Kate's sink station is worth praise. Nestled in an architectural alcove, the sink positioning (opposite a large window) transforms the mundane task of washing up.

Set back from the space, the whimsical pendant light frames the area whilst providing ample illumination, perfect for evening chores. A gold faucet brings that all-important luxurious edge to the historic space, paired with a vibrant floral arrangement, making the area feel like an intentional moment for enjoyment.

Kate Hudson's kitchen is masterful in many ways. The one-of-a-kind marble steals the show, but the sink station is equally as accomplished. A thoughtful area that makes everyday living easier (and more enjoyable), it's a simple yet skilled design we can all learn from.
