Kitchen trends come and go, but the enduring elegance of a black-and-white scheme can't be disputed. While there are plenty of shades that pair beautifully with kitchen cabinets, walls, or cabinets, a room decked out in this classic color pairing will forever feel timeless.

Despite being designed a few years ago by interior designer Tiffany Brooks, LeBron and Savannah James' kitchen proves that a black-and-white color scheme is one of the few styles that can stand the test of time.

LeBron and Savannah's kitchen is effortlessly chic. While its neutral palette and quality materials make it feel enduringly elegant, the smaller details add to the room's luxurious vibe.

Some may say black and white room ideas are boring or too familiar, but LeBron and Savannah's kitchen proves that if it's not broke, don't fix it.

Rick Berres, Founder of Honey-Doers, explains, 'It’s neutral and classic, you really, really can’t go wrong with black and white, I cannot overstate this. If you’re on the fence, unsure, or don’t have strong design tastes or vision, then go with black and white every single time.'

From the white kitchen cabinets to the veined marble, the neutral color palette ensures the space feels timeless. Its subtle tones are indicative of the quiet luxury trend, which focuses on using quality materials in a pared-back way.

The intricate marble creates depth and contrast against the plain cabinetry, setting the tone of the space. Head of Design at Caesarstone, Mor Krisher says, 'White marble has a timeless appeal – its elegance and bold veining bring a sense of luxury to any space, and its neutral palette works beautifully with a wide range of interior styles, from classic to contemporary.' Just remember to clean marble countertops with care. Mor adds, 'But while natural marble is stunning, it can be high maintenance.'

Although the palette is neutral, high-end details have been layered for plenty of interest and ornamentation. The gold fixtures act as decadent flourishes that contrast with the black and white tones. Similarly, the stainless steel oven hood acts as the perfect contrast against the pale cabinets, another reminder of the room's high-end luxury.

The James's kitchen has been artfully designed. At first glance, it appears minimal, but the layers of quality materials make the room feel understated yet still high-end and luxurious. What brings it all together is the black-and-white color scheme; it grounds the design and quietly shines in the background.
