I'm Notoriously Picky about the Type of Blankets I Keep on My Bed, but Madison Beer's Go-To Hasn't Failed Me (Even One Year Later)
Few accessories are as revered among celebrities as the Barefoot Dreams throw blanket – I've written about celeb style for years, and it's a firm favorite
In the four years that I've covered celebrity style, I've yet to find a home accessory as admired as the Barefoot Dreams throw blanket.
This Malibu-based blanket and loungewear powerhouse has found its way into the homes of Madison Beer, Hailey Bieber, Kate Hudson, and Kylie Jenner – so, last year, I decided to see what made it so endearing. It took seconds for me to feel just as hooked as the aforementioned figures, and, one year on, it's just as soft as the first time I removed it from the box.
I use the Dove Gray Cozychic Throw (available at Amazon) on my bed – it's the same shape as the one spotted in Chrissy Teigen's home – whereas Madison opted for a leopard-print option.
The exact colorway she uses appears to be discontinued now, but there are some almost similar options, such as this Micro Leopard blanket from QVC. It's just as soft as Madison's, and its cream and sandstone colors are versatile enough to complement any bedroom or accent chair.

Evenings feel instantly more luxurious with a throw that pairs stylish design with a soft, comforting touch. The plush blanket, featuring a three-color micro leopard pattern, looks striking draped over a sofa or at the foot of a bed, but is at its best when wrapped around you (naturally).
A touch of luxury goes a long way. Gift a pair of these ribbon-tied socks to a caregiver, teacher, or a friend who loves to travel, or just keep them for yourself. Soft as a blanket and designed in a mid-calf fit, they hug the feet comfortably, providing warmth without being restrictive.
Featuring a chic diamond stripe pattern and contrasting rib accents, it adds a sophisticated touch to any living room or bedroom, perfect for movie nights or crisp morning routines. Elegantly packaged with a cotton ribbon, it also makes a thoughtful gift as Christmas draws ever closer.
The leopard-print throw I admired in Madison’s home is no longer available, but this darker version offers a similar bold, playful energy. It’s a fun, eclectic alternative to a classic gray throw and perfect for anyone who embraces a more maximalist style.
While neutral block-colored throws have their appeal, I’m drawn to this plaid option. It’s a stylish choice for anyone looking to introduce a subtle pattern to a minimalist living room or bedroom, and its timeless design is sure to remain just as striking years from now.
This blanket offers the ideal combination of style and comfort. Featuring an all-over diamond knit with subtle ribbed edges, it adds texture and visual interest to any space. Soft, warm, and inviting, it’s the kind of blanket you’ll reach for time and again.
