In recent weeks, Céline Dion has established herself as one of the most talked-about figures in Paris (thanks to her concert residency, no less), but her former home lies roughly 4,500 miles away in Jupiter, Florida.

Few waterfront homes in South Florida have quite the same old-world character as the singer's former estate.

Inside, checkerboard marble floors, Gothic arches, and a French country kitchen give the property a European manor aesthetic that stands apart from the area's more common contemporary coastal interiors. It's a fitting celebration for the woman who has shaped (and continues to influence) European music culture with one show at a time.

Spanning more than 14,000 square feet, the estate is one of the most beautiful on the Jupiter coast and, consequently, one of the world's best homes.

Its architecture draws on traditional European design, with ornate detailing and natural materials throughout, while its waterfront setting places it firmly in South Florida.

The entryway exhibits black-and-white checkerboard marble floors, classical wall sconces, and a hand-painted ceiling medallion framing a chandelier.

Stone arches lead into the main living rooms, where high ceilings and large windows maximize space and natural light.

In the dining room, twin gilded chandeliers hang above a large banquet table, while Gothic-arched French doors bring sunlight into the room.

Limestone details only emphasize the traditional aesthetic, giving the space a more formal character than the sleeker coastal interiors often associated with Florida homes.

The kitchen draws on French country-house style. Terracotta floor tiles sit beneath exposed ceiling beams, while custom cabinetry and a prep island provide counter space.

A sculpted stone range hood adds another layer of traditional detail, and leaded Gothic clerestory windows bring in light from above – a much more rustic approach to kitchen design than is conventional in the area.

The waterfront location is also central to the property’s appeal, featuring a private dock with space for multiple boats and direct access to the water.
