The humble wreath is, for many of us, an essential piece of holiday decor. From our doorways to our mantels, wreaths add festive cheer, volume, and texture to any space they inhabit, all while being a transitional decor piece.

Martha Stewart is, unsurprisingly, a big fan of the Christmas wreath, having revealed on her blog recently that she likes to place them both inside and outside her home. 'I love to decorate my home with lots of wreaths inside and out,' she states on her blog.'Indoors, on each of the windows in my servery, we hung silver wreaths.'

At under $90, it is a fantastic investment that would look just as beautiful inside as it would out. The draping of the jewels instantly elevates any space, too.

Speaking of: Martha says that when it comes to wreath placement, getting experimental is key to creating a harmonious look in the home.

'Wreaths don’t always have to be hung from doors or windows,' Martha states on her blog. 'We hung my jeweled wreaths from the sconces in my sitting room.'

Below, we have rounded up some of our other top wreath picks, including traditional and eclectic variations, and they come with an editor's approval.

'Martha Stewart relies on wreaths throughout her home because they’re simple yet incredibly effective. They bring texture, shine, and a sense of layered design to doors, windows, mantels, and walls, effortlessly elevating your Christmas decor ideas, no matter the size of your home, comments Megan Slack, the Head of Celebrity Style at Homes & Gardens.

'By using wreaths as a consistent element in her holiday decorating, she shows how they can transform a home, making them a must-have for anyone who wants a polished, stylish, and festive look. With decades of experience defining home design and entertaining, Martha’s choices are always worth following – she has a legacy of getting it right after all.'
