In the last year, I've spent more hours than I can confess scrolling through Martha Stewart's collections, and I'm consistently impressed with her offerings. The original influencer has mastered the intricate art of style and functionality in every accent chair she designs – but arguably nothing epitomizes this like her upholstered dining armchair.
Martha Stewart's London Dining Armchair (available at Wayfair) is an entertainer's must-have. Still, it also has a life beyond the dining room – it's equally at home in a living room or a cozy reading nook as it is alongside your table. Its neutral style needs no lengthy explanation, but its secret casters are much more discreet.
Beneath its elegantly skirted base, these hidden casters provide smooth, effortless movement while maintaining a polished look – and I'm seriously impressed by this secret functionality.
Designed for both style and comfort, this chair features a dual-layer seat with high-density foam for lasting support and a soft fiber layer for added comfort. Its understated elegance fits seamlessly in dining areas, seating corners, or any living room (yes, it's much more than just a dining chair).
I'll admit, as someone who lives in a tiny apartment, I'm equally impressed by its versatility. Though labelled as a dining chair, its neutral palette means it wouldn't look out of place in my small living room, especially when I need extra seating over this hosting period.
I was notorious for bringing random dining chairs and stools into my living space for my guests, but this chair changes the game. It looks like it's made for a living room, and, thanks to its plush design, I can be sure my guests will be comfy all evening long.
If you’re excited by the idea of adding a Martha Stewart-designed chair to your home – but this upholstered piece isn’t quite your style (and that's totally understandable!) – don’t worry. Wayfair has discounted several of our favorite Martha-designed pieces this weekend. Check out some Homes & Gardens-approved picks below.
This rattan armchair showcases a comfortable, upholstered seat and back cushion in a chic striped pattern. Its '60s-inspired rattan frame harmonizes beautifully with the coastal-inspired fabric, making it an ideal statement piece for any Hamptons-style living room.
With its elegant silhouette, this beige armchair blends style and functionality effortlessly. It features an upholstered seat and back in jacquard natural hemp fabric, along with a removable back cushion for added comfort and versatility.
This elegant chair is upholstered in a soft, neutral fabric and features a low back with gently flared arms, creating a graceful silhouette ideal for compact living spaces (much like my own!)
