Robbie Williams' living room is a 'timeless' space that features this unexpected furniture piece
This living room is endlessly timeless, but this standout furniture item adds an element of playfulness

A delicate blend of neutrals, the luxurious living room of singer Robbie William's home is a classical-style space that looks endlessly sophisticated.
Combining mid-century-inspired furniture pieces with more modern plush seating, the room remains an understated and elegant feel, yet equally looks like a cozy and homely space to relax. At first glance, you may think the whole room is pared-back in its design, however, a closer look reveals one loud and unexpected detail that interior designers weigh in on.

'I love the juxtaposition of the classic design details of the home – built-up classic crown trim, the natural wood paneled doors, and the traditional fireplace – mixed with the modern features of the furniture,' explains Design Director at R Line Design Studio Kellie Guerriere. 'It creates an eclectic space while still feeling very timeless.'
'The use of white walls and light-toned textured carpet gives the space an airy, open feel,' Guerriere observes.

While the living room is a lesson in decorating with neutrals, the more unexpected element of the room's interior is the two striking coffee tables: one in a cobalt blue and the other a textured gold that reflects a sense of grandeur.
'The cobalt blue and gold tables inject a feeling of whimsey, which keeps the space from feeling too formal. They also tie beautifully into the gold frame and blue tones of the art piece,' explains Guerriere.
'The first things I notice in this space are the pops of blue,' says interior designer Kathy Kuo. 'I love how the cobalt blue of the table in this space ties in with the blue in the painting, even though the blue tones aren’t exactly the same.'
Kathy Kuo is a celebrated interior designer and international guru within the home and lifestyle space. She has 20+ years of experience in the design industry.
'It’s a nice use of an analogous color palette that pairs so well with the quirky mix of modern contemporary and mid-century furniture silhouettes. And of course, it wouldn't be Robbie’s home without a touch of flash, and the gold coffee table is just the perfect vehicle for that,' concludes Kuo.
