Does Smithey offer free shipping?
Yes. You can sign up to the Smithey email newsletter to get free shipping on your first purchase. Sign up on the Smithey website and you’ll immediately be sent your free shipping offer.
Does Smithey have a first order discount?
Smithey’s main first order promotion is free shipping for signing up to the newsletter, as mentioned. This gives a specific saving of $15 on shipping. We’ll let you know right here if any first order discounts are available.
Does Smithey have cast iron sales?
Absolutely, but they don’t happen often. Smithey occasionally hosts a ‘seconds sale’ where you can expect 13-15% off selected items. Each factory second item is discounted, as they have very minor cosmetic imperfections. These do not affect the cooking quality, but stock does need to be cleared.
Are there free returns at Smithey?
Smithey offers free returns for those being refunded by gift card. If you prefer the refund back onto your credit card, returns will be deducted from your refund total. You’ll have 45 days to return any unused cookware, excluding engraved or factory second items.

Military discounts: You can get 10% off with a military discount code at Smithey. If you’re a current or former US military personnel, verify your ID with GovX to access this discount. You can also get this saving if you’re a first responder, such as law enforcement, fire, and EMS.
Selected free engraving: Love personalised cookware? We’ve previously seen free engraving promotions at Smithey for graduates, to celebrate graduating from university. This usually costs $40-$80 per engraving. Whilst these promotions happen very rarely, it’s worth knowing they have happened before. So, make sure to follow the brand on Facebook for all promotional updates.
