A clean water source is one of the most invaluable things you can offer birds in your yard, and finding a way to do it while elevating your outdoor space is even better. That's why I've been in the market for a bird bath that isn't simply functional, but also beautiful – and then I stumbled across my dream find.

If you're also looking for a new bird bath, look no further than the Wayfair solar bird bath planter. Not only does it have a bird bath, it also has a planter at the bottom and a solar light feature in the shape of running water, providing a warm glow for evening summer hosting.

I love the multifunctionality of this bird bath, creating a charming botanical spectacle without taking up loads of space. And the discounted price of $52.99 is a great sweetener. It will fit neatly on my small patio and make the space feel much more welcoming.

Why Shoppers Love It

If you have a small garden but want a planter, bird bath, and solar light, then this all-in-one Wayfair product is perfect. I love the fact it's space-saving while ticking off all of these functions, ideal for uplifting the empty corner of my patio.

'The most perfect addition to my garden,' one reviewer writes. 'This is super cute. I cant wait to get flowers in the bottom of it. I really like that its solar and lights up at night,' another shopper writes.

There's no doubt its design is fitting for cottage gardens and homeowners looking for a lived-in, rustic feel in the garden. The butterfly and hummingbird motifs are particularly charming.

Just take care to place your bird bath carefully so it attracts birds effectively and provides the a quiet spot for them to bathe in.

'The led lights look like dripping water at night but do NOT interfere with the birds,' another person writes.

It's worth noting, the Wayfair solar bird bath planter arrives disassembled. However, one five-star reviewer describes it's quick to assemble:

'This bird feeder and bath was really easy and fast to put together, it took me less than 5 minutes to do.'

Though, others have noted the provided instructions are tricky to follow, but easy enough to figure out.

The planter space at the bottom is one of the shoppers' favorite features: '[I] can't wait to fill the bottom with plants and the top with water,' one person writes.

You can plant the best plants for pollinators to turn this into a wildlife station in your yard. Planting these wildflower seeds for pollinators from Burpee is a good place to start.

The one thing to note, however, is that the planter doesn't have drainage holes. Nevertheless, the reviews reveal it's easy enough to drill drainage holes into it.

The fact the light is solar-powered provides automatic backyard lighting once the sun goes down. Plus, it's easy enough to clean this bird bath with this Amazon bird bath cleaner.

One of my favorite tricks to make maintenance less effort is by adding a solar fountain (like this one from Walmart) to keep water moving and stop debris and algae building up.

For me, this is an ideal bird bath to upgrade my patio and welcome wildlife in a limited space. With the current discounted price, I'm getting my hands on it now to get my yard summer ready.
