I've Coveted Martha Stewart's Jadeite Tableware For Years – I'm Finally Investing in These Discounted Pieces
Martha Stewart's jadeite tableware collection is legendary – and I've spotted some pieces in the sale that are too good to pass up
Any keen host would jump at the chance to cook in Martha Stewart's kitchen, but there's one thing I covet even more than her restaurant-worthy cookware and appliances: her collection of jadeite tableware. And after years spent lusting after these gorgeous pieces, I've finally decided to invest in some of my own – especially since I've spotted some great deals in the Black Friday sales.
While you might be familiar with Martha Stewart's pastel dishware, her love for jadeite goes back decades. 'Before there was Tupperware or Pyrex, there was jadeite – a stain- and heat-resistant, milky-green glassware,' explains Martha in an Instagram post. Her personal collection is in fact the brainchild of her daughter, Alexis, 'who started the impressive collection during a cross-country road trip,' according to Martha.
Today, Martha is the proud owner of a huge selection of jadeite pieces – but you'll also find a few in her own tableware collections (like this Highbrook jadeite cake stand, which is discounted on the Martha Stewart Amazon storefront right now).

Jadeite tableware itself dates back to the Great Depression, when it was originally produced as a more affordable alternative to earthenware. The pale green shade was favored by glassmakers for its uplifting look, and jadeite pieces quickly began to gain popularity.
Today, jadeite might not be the go-to choice for well-priced, durable tableware, but it's certainly still beloved. From cereal bowls and dinner plates to serving platters and cake stands, many jadeite pieces are viewed as collectibles – and fortunately, Martha has designed a few more accessible versions. (The Highbrook jadeite glass serving plate is at the top of my list.)

It might seem like a daring color choice, but I think jade is a gorgeous addition to any tablescape – and it will always get your guests talking. I might be more accustomed to earthy shades (think the forest green patterns on Joanna-Gaines' favorite green and white tableware), but I can't wait to bring a few statement jade pieces into the mix.
After all, I've always dreamed of building my own jadeite collection; I just can't find enough time to hunt through flea markets and antique stores. So, I've decided to start with the jadeite pieces in Martha's tableware range – here are my favorites.

If I could choose just one of Martha's jadeite pieces, it would be this one. It's large enough to use as a serving platter or a charger plate, and it's simply stunning.
The scalloped decor trend isn't going anywhere, so why not bring it into your kitchen? This cake stand is the epitome of elegance, and I have a feeling that my guests will agree.
A statement salad bowl is essential when you're entertaining a crowd, and I can't wait to put this one to use during the holidays. I'd pair it with silver salad servers for a refined look.
Martha loves her cake stands – but this one boasts a more contemporary feel. With its handsome glass dome, it'll make your kitchen feel like a professional bakery.
Serve breakfast in style with these cereal bowls; I'd also bring them out at parties and use them for snacks and hors d'oeuvres.
I'm obsessed with the lattice-like finish on this cake stand – it feels whimsical and yet refined. I can't wait to display my Christmas bakes with pride on here.
I might have an obsession with Martha's jadeite tableware, but I've been keeping a keen eye on her cookware, and I've started to fall in love. My most exciting discovery? The copper pans in Martha's '70s country kitchen are the epitome of rustic chic.
