Gordon Ramsay is selling his Grade II listed luxury coastal holiday home in Fowey, Cornwall, for £2.75 million.
The popular TV chef purchased the former Lloyds bank building back in 2017 and transformed it into a stylish hideaway home. Trevail House was available for holidaymakers to rent from around £4,700 a week on Boutique Retreats (opens in new tab), and boasts four bedrooms, each with an en-suite, and an open-plan living area spanning over 2,800 square feet.
He converted the two-storey maisonette, which is his third property in Cornwall, into a holiday home, and rented it out to potential holidaymakers, much to the dismay of some locals.
Situated next to the river, it has beautiful views from its private outdoor deck and garden room with bar facilities. As you would expect, it has been renovated to an incredibly high standard, and would make a luxurious family home or holiday rental.
Trevail House is right on the water with the most incredible views. Breathe in the sea air and soak in the calm – set over three floors, expect gorgeous interiors, incredible facilities, plenty of space and a waterside terrace.
Fowey is rather popular with holidaymakers as it offers a beautiful sandy beach, a mix of independent shops, high-end restaurants and activities such as kayaking, sailing, boat hire or exploring the South West Coastal path.
The immediate area is surrounded by many miles of delightful coast and countryside much of which is in the ownership of the National Trust. Award winning restaurants, excellent public houses, small boutique hotels and independent shops have all helped to establish Fowey as a popular holiday destination.
Gordon is selling the property with agent John Bray and Partners, who describe it as a 'beautifully spacious, four-bedroom townhouse residence'.
Gordon Ramsay has an ever-growing property portfolio. He also ownsa £4.4 million beachside mansion in the coastal fishing village of Rock, Cornwall, plus a £4 million beach house in the village of Trebetherick in North Cornwall.
