This upcoming season, H&M Home have launched an exciting collection of furniture and lamps in a variety of styles.
See our shopping section for more expert interiors tips, product launches, and luxury buys
Sculptural lamps, upholstered furniture and a sleek drinks trolley are among the new styles together with statement-making chandeliers, modern cabinets and characterful dining tables.
Materials such as modernistic powder-coated steel, warm rattan and elegant velvet are significant for this collection.
Next season H&M Home’s blankets, cushion covers and rugs, towels and bedlinen come in various shades of beige, taupe and café au lait. Brown is going to be a popular colour for 2020.
These earthy tones work well together and are perfect to create a unified look. The aim is for a relaxed and casual style so don’t be afraid to go bohemian with details such as raw endings, fringes and tassels.
Here are our favourite picks from the collection.
1. Rattan revival
H&M have expanded their popular Safari series with a selection of wood and rattan dining tables and folding chairs, which are now available in black. The relaxed forms, neutral tones and natural materials will lend an easy elegance to a room.
2. Wooden wonder
This modern sideboard unites function and great design. The combination of light wood and black brings a clean, yet interesting, look – which makes it the ultimate eye-catching piece. In the same modern style, they have also introduced a bedside table, perfect for creating a contemporary bedroom, while also doubling as functional storage.
3. '70s romance
H&M have presented us with a new line inspired by 70s elegance and romance. This lovely series really stands out and includes tables as well as upholstered benches and stools in cream velvet with brass legs.
4. Lights on
Lamps are perfect for adding character, and these modern chandeliers in brass or black bring that special something to a room. A bold glass table lamp in yellow really makes a statement with its distinctive colour and shape.
5. Sustainability matters
This season’s outdoor furniture line presents a chair, bench and table in FSC-certified meranti wood with off-white cushions. These beautiful and luxurious pieces are perfect for enjoying those first rays of sun.
