According to the Los Angeles Times, Michael Rapaport purchased the property at 653 S. Orange Drive for $2.97 million in 2016, approximately one year after the building was complete.
The arty box-like structure is among the most exquisitely designed modern accomplishments in the area, complete with sweeping 11ft foot ceilings and wide oak hardwood flooring throughout the home. A chic open-plan space combines indoor-outdoor living through its Fleetwood doors that seamlessly disappear into the walls.
The adjoining kitchen boasts a waterfall quartz kitchen island and large windows that drench the space with golden Californian rays.

Meanwhile, the guest bedrooms boast custom skylights and solar wells, making it the perfect place to crash after the post-pandemic Hancock Park housewarming party of the decade.
This contemporary grandeur continues to its landscaped exterior, with an arty in-ground swimming pool and spa area. Beyond its security gates, the property is only a short hop from the most exclusive bars and restaurants in Hancock Park and a quaint shopping strip that will come in handy for the property’s walk-in wardrobe. Nick Collins of the Agency held this listing.
