'I hope the collection inspires others to take action': Drew Barrymore launches a new sustainable home collection
'Every piece was designed and crafted to be sustainable, beautiful, and effective for the health of people and the planet'
If you were going to welcome a celebrity into your home, it feels like a safe bet that Drew Barrymore would be among the most delightful.
But while a cozy at-home brunch date with the actress and TV talk show host is unlikely, you can bring her latest product range into your home.
Drew has created a range of eco-friendly cleaning products, partnering with Grove Co to create Fresh Horizons, released just in time for a spring cleaning refresh.
Barrymore first partnered with the brand last April as their Global Brand + Sustainability Advocate, and creating a line together was the obvious next step. Plus, if you’ve seen any of the TV host’s recent rain-loving social media videos, her inspiration for the line makes complete sense.
'I wanted to create a line of home accessories that were bright, modern, and inspired by the beauty of the natural world,' says Barrymore. 'Every piece was designed and crafted to be sustainable, beautiful, and effective for the health of people and the planet.'
The team at Grove Co gave us a peek at the 11-piece collection that’s meant to help people reduce their single-use plastic waste, and it’s a toss-up on which of the two scents sounds more appealing.
There’s Island Orchid, 'a floral fragrance with notes of sun-kissed orchid and frangipani,' and Palm Leaf Mist, 'a rejuvenating fragrance with notes of dewy greens and bright citrus reminiscent of a scented dew that lingers after a tropical rainfall,' according to the brand.

While the whole line of cleaners, candles, and reusable spray bottles are a must-have this spring, Grove Co. revealed these are Drew’s personal faves.
- Soy Candle ($9.99, 5.5 oz) - Made with 100% natural fragrances, these soy candles burn for 40 hours.
- Multi-Purpose Cleaners ($7.99, 2 count) + Reusable Spray Bottle ($14.99) - This plastic-free system has helped prevent more than 1.4M lbs of plastic from entering landfills since 2020.
- Hydrating Hand Soap ($5.49, 13 oz) + Hand Soap Dispenser ($14.99) - This soap is packaged in infinitely recyclable aluminum cans (which has helped spare more than 520 lbs of plastic from entering landfills since 2020).
- Hand Soap Sheets ($5.49, 40 washes) - Fully dissolvable, biodegradable, pre-cut hand soap sheets that Drew keeps in her purse at all times.
'Working closely with Drew to craft the concept and design of these products has been such a pleasure, and we have been able to create something beautiful and modern that is also rooted in sustainability,' says Lucy Leahy, GM of Owned Brands at Grove Collaborative. 'This collection combines colorful designs, high-quality materials, and high-performing products that are better for people and the planet. We are so excited to bring Drew’s first co-created collection with Grove Co. to life.'
Each Fresh Horizons product itself is designed to make your home sparkle and smell great this spring, but Barrymore has a bigger and longer-lasting dream for the line. 'I hope the collection inspires others to take action and embark on their own sustainability journey – making it easier to use less plastic in their daily lives,' she says.
