The $25 home fragrance Brittany Snow tucks into different corners – she uses it alongside other scents, but they never compete

Many of us turn to scented candles in the fall and winter seasons, but there is something to be said about introducing a fresh, beachy fragrance into the home during the summer months.

The Hunting Wives' Brittany Snow has given us her top scent pick in a recent interview with The Strategist – and it sounds like a delightful way to make a home smell nice for the summer.

'Sun & Sand smells like the beach,' she explains in the feature. 'It’s this fresh, clean scent that’s a little bit sweet as well, but not overpowering,' she says.

'It’s also a really great scent to layer with other scents. I really like the Clean Cotton scent because it smells like fresh laundry. You can have each candle in different corners of the room, and they won’t cancel each other out or compete. Now, when I light these candles, it takes me right back to those moments of being with my family, which I think is really important and lovely.'

The candle is set at a fantastic price point as well, under $25 for a large size.

Brittany also explains that for her, scent is connected to memory, so infusing specific fragrances into the home can be a very powerful tool.

'I am collaborating with Yankee Candle on its relaunch, and I am so excited because it’s not every day that you get to be in a partnership with a brand that you truly use and love,' she states. 'Yankee Candle has been a trusted brand for me ever since I can remember. My family had a condo timeshare in Sarasota and I have very vivid memories of spending Christmases there. There was always a Yankee Candle there and the scent was Sun & Sand. Now, it is also creating new memories for me as I make my new home a place where I can feel cozy and present and be myself.'
