Jeff Bezos drinks his morning coffee from this innovative mug – here's why it's unlike any other in the world
The entrepreneur gets his caffeine fix from an Ember vessel – a sleek, smart alternative to the humble ceramic mug
Of course, Jeff Jeff Bezos doesn't take his coffee like everyone else. In his case, he's replaced the classic ceramic mug with a smart, battery-powered vessel that keeps his beverage hotter for longer.
Naturally, billionaire Bezos could have his pick of any of the best coffee mugs to accompany his caffeine fix, so why does the Ember vessel come out on top? This award-winning range of sleek and portable cups uses patented technology to set the perfect temperature for hot drinks for up to three hours. This means we can enjoy a shower, a long commute, and scout our morning papers (and then some) with a perfect-temperature coffee.
Ember, the smart tech brand behind the world's first temperature control mug (which happens to be Jeff's go-to), changed the morning coffee game – and it happens to be reduced on Amazon right now.
Just how is the Ember mug used in the Bezos household? 'Whoever gets up first, that person makes the other person coffee,' Jeff's fiancée Lauren Sánchez shared with Vogue. She explains that she takes Jeff takes his coffee with Laird Hamilton's superfood non-dairy creamer in the all-important Ember mug. Former news anchor Lauren Sánchez also uses a mug Jeff purchased for her via Amazon, naturally.
After their coffee, the couple try to avoid getting straight on their phones and instead turn to journaling. 'We're not quite there,' Lauren adds. 'We'll do it, like, three days a week.'
We can't exactly replicate the rest of Jeff Bezos's day, but this part of his coffee-making routine is now more accessible than ever. To get involved for even less, we've found a slightly smaller alternative to the 14 Oz that's also enjoying a reduction right now.
If you are investing in the best coffee maker, your brew deserves the best mug to drink it from, and going for a heated option will ensure it tastes better for longer. Not to mention, the Ember mug is potentially the chicest, most subtle heated mug we've come across – aesthetically pleasing and practical. It's time we change our coffee game, too.
