We found Kim Kardashian's expert-approved coffee maker – and it's surprisingly affordable
The businesswoman's coffee maker is a top choice among experts
Extravagance is a given when it comes to the multi-hyphenate socialite and businesswomen of the Kardashian family. However, a life of abundance doesn't mean the Kardashians can't recognize the value of the simpler things. Kim Kardashian took to TikTok to share her morning coffee routine, revealing the coffee machine she uses in the process. Experts were impressed by the quality and affordability of Kim's coffee maker.

Kim Kardashian's coffee maker is the Nespresso Vertuo Plus Automatic, a beloved machine from the popular coffee machine maker Nespresso. Nespresso is a favorite manufacturer of Laura Honey, Homes & Gardens resident coffee expert and tester. Laura states: ‘Nespresso makes the best single-serve machines on the market. It’s undeniable. Their premium machines deliver reliably full flavors in next to no time.'
Laura is our e-Commerce editor who was trained as a barista eight years ago. She has been making, drinking, and enjoying coffee ever since. She’s spent time with Q-graders, coffee roasters, and other experts in the coffee community. Now, she tests and writes about all things coffee for us here at Homes & Gardens
Furthermore, Laura admires this machine for its preciseness in making everything from a cappuccino to a flat white to a coffee smoothie. 'Automatic is one of the core Vertuo models made by Nespresso. These machines read specific barcodes of pods to brew the perfect cup of coffee in a range of specialized ways to suit the type of coffee you’ve chosen to drink,' says Laura.
She continues, 'I’ve tested lots of the Vertuos and they’re true to their promise, whether it’s a simple coffee or peppermint latte for the festive season, these machines make delicious single-serve coffee.' She continues, 'The only drawback is that the Vertuo machines have to work with Nespresso’s compatible pods, you couldn’t have your Keurig or re-usable ones.'
Finally, while the retail price of $169.99 is more than pocket change, it's a good value for a high-quality coffee machine and less than we'd expect a Kardashian to spend on kitchen appliances. Best of all, Nespresso frequently runs promotions on the machine, so it's usually less than this. If it's good enough for Kim at this cost, surely it's good enough for us.
This wonderful single-serve coffee machine looks stylish and delivers on delicious coffee. Kim Kardashian uses it everyday.
If you prefer a machine that makes a pot of coffee rather than a single drink, Laura reviewed dozens to find the best drip coffee makers of 2023. However, for those of us who like a more specialty experience, Kim's Vertuo machine is a great option.
