Even the simplest arrangements can elevate an empty corner. Whether it's a vase filled with seasonal flowers or a trinket crowning a stack of books, thoughtful styling can make all the difference to otherwise empty nooks.

While it might sound obvious, seemingly simple arrangements will truly transform any area of your home. While I've long believed this, Meg Ryan's breakfast table has made me even more convinced of the power of intentional styling.

Meg's breakfast table styling couldn't be more thoughtful. Featuring a handful of handmade ceramics and a delicate floral centerpiece, it's a lesson in paring things back without compromising on homely charm.

Meg's kitchen is breathtakingly serene, but I'm convinced that the intentional and thoughtful styling is what makes the space so successful. At first glance, the breakfast table appears simple, but it's clear plenty of thought has gone into the arrangement.

The farmhouse-style table sets the tone of the space, giving the kitchen a refreshingly lived-in, homely feel. Despite being a white kitchen, these rustic touches bring a grounded quality that makes the space feel inviting and familiar. The vintage furniture is purposefully mismatched, only adding to the room's charm.

The ceramics are the perfect flourish that transforms the eating area into a thoughtful space. Reminiscent of a still life painting, the pieces are intentionally gathered together, giving the area a sense of accomplishment, matched by the considered fruit bowl arrangement and the dainty floral display.

Meg's kitchen is artfully designed. Featuring shelves of tableware and vintage details, it's a lesson in fusing the past and present into designs. Whilst every element is impressive, her simple breakfast table set-up couldn't be more thoughtful or welcoming.
