This $30 rose candle, inspired by Olivia Colman’s new film, might be the chicest design detail of the upcoming season
Voluspa has released a limited edition candle in celebration of the upcoming release of The Roses, starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Olivia Colman

Roses are timeless, from their visual appeal in interior prints to their distinct, floral scent. They are also making waves (albeit in a different format) in the upcoming film, The Roses, starring Olivia Colman and Benedict Cumberbatch, and to celebrate this release, Voluspa has introduced a limited edition candle to its expansive roster of scents.
The home and personal fragrance brand is releasing its beloved Rose Otto candle with limited edition packaging, and the vessel is a sight to behold.
The pink, glass encasement is luxe and elegant, serving as the perfect coffee table accessory or bedside table staple. In fact, one of the benefits of this candle is that it can be recycled after the wax has all been burned, making it a truly sustainable purchase at only $30 for 6.5 ounces.
The scent itself is ideal for floral lovers, with Rosa Damascena flower tops, Bulgarian rose, and pink peony powering the fragrance.
Meanwhile, the single wick provides a 40-hour burn time of the coconut wax blend. Additionally, the candle is free of phthalates, parabens and sulfates.
Candle care is crucial to its preservation and longevity; as such, the Voluspa website instructs users to trim wicks to 1/4” with each burn. They also suggest placing candles on a heat-resistant surface or tray, and ensuring the wax melts to the candle's edge. Finally, using a snuffer prevents soot or smoke from infiltrating your space.
Below, we have rounded up a few additional favorite rose-scented candles, all of which look just as good as they smell. Happy shopping!

This full and rich candle evokes the feeling of walking through a budding rose garden in the spring. However, these flowery notes are unmistakable at any point of the year.
With top notes of rose petals and base notes of birch tree and ebony woods, this blend of natural scents is a celeb favorite for a reason.
This is a classic for a reason, and well worth the luxury price tag. It looks gorgeous too, making it easy to reuse the candle jar around your home.
