Every year, come November (and even October in some cases), a flurry of home fragrance advent calendars appear online. These range from more affordable iterations all the way to high-end options that can cost upwards of $500, but one brand I look to every year for a reliable choice that won't cost the earth is Yankee Candle.

As I enjoyed the 2025 release so much, I'm adding the Yankee Candle 12 Days of Christmas Candle Advent Calendar 2026, available at Amazon, straight to my cart, along with a couple of extras for gifting friends and family this holiday season.

The smaller size of the candles included makes them the best candles to burn and enjoy over the festive period, while the natural soy wax blend provides an even burn from first light to the very bottom of the vessel.

Last year, I found such joy in opening a new mini candle to burn each day − testing new scents to make my home smell nice without having to commit to the larger size. It was a joy shared with my sister, with whom I smelled each one, sharing them between us throughout the 12 days of Christmas.

The mini votive candles made the perfect companions on the days I worked from home. They added a cozy touch to my home office desk on darker days while making my home smell like Christmas. Now, the 2026 Yankee Candle 12 Days of Christmas Candle Advent Calendar is here, and I can't wait to get my hands on it.

Filled with 12 votive candles (each of which is 1.3 oz and features a burn time of up to 15 hours), there are a host of signature Yankee festive scents to discover. Favorites include Balsam & Cedar, Christmas Cookie, Red Apple Wreath, White Spruce, Sparkling Cinnamon, and Macintosh. Each is hand-poured with a natural cotton wick for an impressively cleaner and more even burn that makes it easy to avoid any candle tunneling. In fact, in my experience, this is never an issue I've encountered with any Yankee Candle I've used.

Full transparency: A natural soy wax blend does not equate to a non-toxic candle. Yankee Candles are not considered one hundred percent non-toxic, as they are composed of premium-grade paraffin wax blended with natural soy wax, though they are free from any parabens, phthalates, formaldehyde, and sulfates.

This is a toss-up in price − Yankee Candle is a brand that sits towards the more affordable end of the home fragrancing spectrum, yet still delivers on strong scents that quickly and effortlessly fill any space.

If you're looking for an early stocking stuffer or a budget-friendly home fragrance gift this holiday season, an advent calendar is a lovely way to bring a little festive magic to a friend or family member. The Yankee Candle 12 Days of Christmas Candle Advent Calendar is the perfect pick − affordable, colorful, and ready for gifting.
