We are taking cues from Reese Witherspoon, who recently shared a photo of her seasonal tablescape: and it's giving us tons of spring tablescaping ideas.
Florals, naturally, take center stage, with actual blooms sitting pretty in patterned vases, while a blue, floral tablecloth serves as a base on the table. The blend of colors, patterns, and textures is vibrant and visuall appealing, proving that mixing and matching is the move.

According to experts, decorating with flowers is one of the best ways to enliven a table, whether it is indoors or outside.
'Spring is best celebrated with fresh foliage,' says product developer Poppy Munson from interiors retailer Nkuku. 'Dust off your favourite glass vase and inject florals into the home with beautiful blooms. You can choose earthy colours and pared-back arrangements for a more muted look or go bold with a display of brighter seasonal flowers.'
A mix of glass and ceramic vases is a great way to create visual interest and balance on a table; as are mood-boosting colors.
Poppy continues, 'There is no better time to experiment with color than in the spring months, echoing the lush greenery that is outside. The simplest way to add colorful touches is through soft furnishings such as cushions or throws. Opt for natural fabrics woven in soft stripes for an elegant and timeless aesthetic.'

We can see that Reese has opted for a blue and white tablecloth, which strikes a perfect balance between bold color and neutrality.
When it comes to outdoor table centerpiece ideas, you can't go wrong with a timeless fruit bowl in addition to other natural elements, like flowers.
'Elevate your dining or kitchen table with a fresh and colorful fruit arrangement,' Cassandra Leisz, senior creative director at Ruggablesuggests. 'On a wooden board or in a bowl, arrange colorful fruits like strawberries, apples, grapes, and oranges. This doubles as both a centerpiece and a delicious grazing board for the whole family. If you prefer adding florals to your table but want a long-lasting option, consider using artificial flower arrangements. They’re cheaper than real flower bouquets and can be used throughout the year.'
Spring tablescapes really allow for customization and creativity, so experimenting with making your own flower arrangements is not only warranted but encouraged.
