I have a bad habit of shoving things into drawers and promising myself I'll sort them out later. The problem is, 'later' never really comes. Before I know it, I can't find what I need, drawers are struggling to close properly, and the hidden clutter starts to feel just as stressful as the mess sitting out in the open.

That's why I'm finally organizing the drawers around my home with Amazon's 65-Cent Drawer Organizers. The set comes with 24 individual trays and is currently discounted for Prime Day, making this one of the most affordable organizing buys I've spotted in the sale.

I'm a sucker for a clever storage ideas and decluttering tips, and these are right at the top of my list. I used them in my vanity drawer a while back, and it's still one of the only drawers in my home that stays consistently tidy.

Like so many of us, I often end up treating drawers as temporary holding spaces when I'm short on time or energy. Things get hidden away quickly rather than put away properly, and the clutter quietly builds up behind closed fronts.

What I love about drawer organizers is that they make staying organized feel almost effortless. Once everything has its own little compartment, you're much less likely to toss things in at random. Instead, each item has a designated spot, which makes tidying up feel faster and finding things infinitely easier.

I'm not the only fan. 'I have these types of drawer organizers throughout my home and genuinely couldn't be without them,' says Lucy Searle, Content Director at Homes & Gardens, Livingetc and Ideal Home. 'I use them for everything from makeup and jewelry organization to stationery and kitchen bits and pieces. They make even the most cluttered drawers feel calmer and more functional, and because everything is visible, you're far less likely to buy duplicates or forget what you already own.'

Before I fill mine, I'm also doing a quick edit using my two favorite decluttering methods: the 'didn't know' method – if I'd forgotten I owned something, I probably don't need it – and the 20/20 rule, which means if something can be replaced in under 20 minutes for less than $20, I'm comfortable letting it go.

With these organizers in hand, sorting out my drawers suddenly feels much less overwhelming. In fact, I'm ordering two sets while they're on sale.
