Le Creuset’s Utterly Sumptuous Nuit Colorway Is Back for Fall 2026 – And It’s More Beautiful Than Ever
With the centennial finishing, the color is back and better than ever
When we think of fall, shades of burnt orange, burgundy, and rich brown usually come to mind. Blue, by contrast, is more often associated with summer. Le Creuset is changing that, however, with the return of one of its most sumptuous colorways.
Relaunching Nuit, a deliciously deep, inky blue, the heritage brand has expanded the 2024 colorway across even more of its best non-toxic cookware. Reminiscent of those early twilight evenings, this atmospheric shade offers a sophisticated alternative for anyone ready to move beyond traditional fall tableware colors.
From hearty, wholesome bakes to slow-roasted casseroles, these hardworking pieces are designed to handle everything from everyday cooking to seasonal entertaining. It's the perfect investment for fall and winter hosting that will look just as beautiful on the table throughout the rest of the year.
The new collection uses the centennial Crucible Knob to celebrate 100 years of the cookware.
This endearing color has been inspired by the 'mystery of the night sky,' Le Creuset explains. 'This luxurious, velvety color swirls from black to true blue.'
The color quickly adds depth and drama to any fall table decor or winter festive tablescaping. Its inky finish feels particularly beautiful by candlelight, adding a rich, atmospheric touch to seasonal gatherings without relying on the usual fall and winter colors.
The relaunch also introduces the new Centennial Crucible Knob, a silver-toned adornment inspired by the industrial crucible used to melt the raw materials that become Le Creuset’s iconic enameled cast iron. Set against the velvety blue finish, it feels like a star glinting in the night sky, providing the perfect celestial touch.
I've already put the mini cocottes on my Christmas list (a little early, I know, but I'm dreaming of serving indulgent desserts at a New Year's dinner party). There’s something about this deep, almost otherworldly blue that makes even the simplest pieces feel special, and it's a colorway I simply can’t resist.
