The year has flown by, and with November just a week away, I am already thinking about my Christmas hosting. The first task on my list? Planning the menu and how I am going to cook it.
Nothing motivates me to cook more than beautiful cookware. If something looks stunning on my stove, the hours spent laboring over slow cooks or complicated bakes are instantly more gratifying, not to mention that they are perfect for showing off to guests.
That's why I am so enamored with this year's Christmas collection from Le Creuset. The non-toxic cookware is crafted in rich, jewel tones that are straight out of a holiday fairy tale, with luscious burgundy and sumptuous blues made for expensive-looking festive tablescaping.
The cast iron cookware is decorated with elaborate tree-shaped embossing on each lid and is finished with a wonderfully seasonal star-shaped knob, which is also available separately should you wish to add a festive touch to your existing Le Creuset pieces. On the mini Noel cocottes, the star is even dipped in real gold, for an utterly luxurious finish.
The gold finishes don't stop there, either. The Holly Collection Cocottes and London Mugs are finished with gold leaf, for adding a sparkling shine to your holiday dinner and coffee tables.
