39th Annual Antique Show & Sale New Bern

It's an exciting year to visit New Bern's 39th Annual Antique Show & Sale, a fundraiser held by the Preservation Foundation to help preserve the area's 'unique architectural heritage.' Thursday is the preview, but the other days are fully open for visitors to come and shop.

February brings with it four instalments of the Grand Bazaar NYC, all with a fun and fabulous theme. The New Jersey Big Flea

Whether you're new to antique markets and vintage sales or a regular attendee, there are a few things to consider before you shop to ensure you arrive prepared and return home with some charming finds.

The most important (and usually forgotten)thing is to bring cash. Some fairs only accept cash for admission, and in some cases, vendors will only accept cash. It's also a great way to make sure you don't overspend – it's easy to do at these events!

If you're buying large furniture items, measure the space in your home before you arrive, and measure the antiques you are considering buying.
