It's no secret that introducing vintage or antique finds to your home is one of the best ways to elevate your rooms, giving them character and unique appeal. And your local antiques and vintage fairs are the best place to find hidden gems.

Whether you're an experienced shopper or a total beginner to decorating with antiques, perusing your local sales gives you the chance to look at hundreds – if not thousands – of pieces in person, which is always the best way to get a clear picture of the condition, color, and size of the antiques.

You can also speak to the dealer or seller in person, who can offer valuable advice for styling and caring for antique and vintage designs. So, while buying antiques online is an easy and accessible option, nothing beats the joy of seeing, holding, and speaking about the pieces face-to-face.

Whether you're searching for an antique sale in sunny California or and vintage fair in the heart of Texas, we've found the events worth knowing about happening throughout June 2025. Here's our comprehensive calendar to help you find your local sales.

Antiques and vintage fair shopping tips and essentials

There's nothing worse than turning up to an antiques market or vintage fair totally unprepared. It's a different type of shopping, a far cry from browsing online or even visiting your local shops. As such, there are a few things you need to know to ensure you arrive prepared.

Before your visit, if you're hoping to buy furniture items, make sure you measure before you buy. It can be as simple as measuring the areas of your home that you would like to introduce something antique, whether it's a table, dresser, or even an armchair. This will ensure you don't buy anything that has nowhere to live.

Secondly, always bring cash. We are so used to tapping our card (or even our phones!) to make purchases, but antique sales are old school, so expect to find more vendors than not who don't accept cards. This is also a great option if you're trying to stick to a budget.

Lastly, come prepared for how much you plan to buy. If you want to buy furniture, consider whether the items will be able to fit into your vehicle, or if you will need to organize a van to pick it up. Most fairs are happy for you to do this, but check with the organizers first.

And even if you might think you aren't planning to buy any large items, you still need to think about how you will carry all the antique and vintage treasures you find. One of the most popular hacks is to bring a foldable trolley or wagon, so you can pull your buys along with no fuss!

Decorating with vintage and antique finds is the most authentic way to bring character and unique style into your interiors. Whether you want to create a vintage kitchen with an antique dresser or a trinket you've spotted in this year's antique home decor trends, these fairs, sales, and markets are the best places to find them.
