Back, and better than ever – Lone Fox and Joon Loloi have reunited for a sensational second collection brimming with vintage-inspired elegance
With their subtle western look and undeniable charm, these rugs and pillows are bound to become instant favorites

Out of all of the DIY home content creators out there, few inspire me as much as Drew Michael Scott, the creative mind behind Lone Fox. His signature aesthetic is so distinct and captivating, it fills me (and millions of others) with the urge to transform our homes to look exactly like his. And in a way, we can.
After the massive success of the first Lone Fox x Joon Loloi collaboration, Drew and the Joon Loloi team are back again with another range of stylish rugs and pillows that embody Drew's vintage-inspired aesthetic. 'I think my love of antiques and all things worn and patinaed is just ingrained in everything I do,' Drew tells me. 'It is no longer a conscious choice; it has simply become the way I approach design. As I worked on this collection, it was not necessarily about forcing that influence, but letting it come through naturally.'
According to Drew, the new collection is built on the foundation of the first – both collections are deeply infused with what he calls 'the Lone Fox DNA'. However, this time around, new sources of inspiration were woven in, giving us a fresh perspective on Drew's signature style and providing us with new ways in which we can adopt the look for our homes.

If you're looking to ground your space with rich colors, Western interior design trends, and all the best of the Lone Fox aesthetic, shop the new collection below.
Size: 8' x 10' (more sizes available)
With its bold stripe print, this rug certainly makes a style statement. However, its soft, earthy color scheme keeps it from looking too busy. It's the type of rug that can ground your space with elegance while simultaneously making your space look unique and different. Plus, its high-low pile adds to its overall appeal.
Size: 16" X 26" Lumbar
Drew is known for his vintage-inspired aesthetic, and the design of this pillow cover speaks directly to that. Its geometric design is grounded by a rich color palette that makes this pillow cover a stylish statement piece with antique charm. Its lumbar shape makes it ideal for use on couches, accent chairs around the home, or even the bed.
Size: 6' x 9' (more sizes available)
The Lariat Rug is easily one of the standouts of this collection. Despite its soft beige and brown colors, this rug is a statement maker. It ties in elements of the rope inspiration, but its playfully wavy edge adds just a touch of whimsical charm to its Western design. This rug is hand-tufted of a wool blend and made by skilled artisans. It's a high pile rug, too, at .75".
Size: 8' x 10' (more sizes available)
This rug might be one of my favorite styles from the collection. Its denim color makes a slight nod to the Western influences of this collection, while its tile-like design taps into Drew's vintage-inspired aesthetic. Not to mention its high-low pile – a detail that makes rugs both visually and texturally appealing. Hand-tufted of wool, this rug will bring softness and style underfoot.
Size: 18" X 18"
I love the simple yet intricate design of this pillow cover. It reflects Drew's admiration of traditional basketweave with its cotton blend stylishly woven on one side. It makes a statement of elegance and grace, and its textural details speak volumes. If you're looking for something to enhance the pillow display on your couch or bed, this is the pillow cover to make it happen.
Size: 7'6" x 9'6" (more sizes available)
This rug looks familiar, right? That's because it's a reinterpretation of one of the standout pieces from the first Lone Fox x Joon Loloi collaboration. 'Hollyhock’s design was lifted straight from the 17th-century Belgian tapestry hanging in Drew’s living room. Which is apt, because this rug is as versatile as it is striking and can actually be used as a tapestry, like the one it’s inspired by (thanks to its low-profile pile),' Cyrus tells me. Here it is again, just in a new, warm colorway.
Size: 5' x 8' (more sizes available)
This rug can add depth and elegance to any room. It features a unique stripe design – composed of larger, contrasting stripes in colors clay and wine, as well as smaller, softer stripes that give this rug an illusion of texture. Its design is also inspired by the intricacies of basketweave. This rug is made of soft wool and features a high pile.
Size: 18" x 18"
Basket weave was another major inspiration for Drew when designing this collection, and this pillow cover is a prime example of that. If you look closely, you can see just how intricate its weave truly is. Handwoven by skilled artisans, this pillow cover is made from cotton and natural cellulose. It can certainly add textural elegance to a couch, chair, or even your bed.
Size: 7'6" x 9'6" (more sizes available)
Rope was a strong inspiration for Drew as he designed this collection. In this rug, you can clearly see rope influence – this rug features a neatly knotted rope design around its edge, as well as an inner rope motif. This is a power loomed rug with a .25" pile that's both soft and durable. It can gracefully enhance any room in which it's added.
'Throughout the collection, you’ll find traces of Western motifs, traditional basket-weave patterns, and tonal tiles – all filtered through a modern lens and rendered in a rich palette,' Cyrus Loloi explains, Co-Founder of Joon Loloi. According to Drew, this influence stems from a trip he and the Joon Loloi team took to Round Top, Texas last year – an antique and vintage decor hotspot.
'I wanted [the collection] to have a loosely Western vibe without feeling 'themey', Drew says. That's where details like rope and basketweave come into play. '[Rope] can lean nautical, western, or simply serve as an interesting and unexpected detail. I have also been really into woven leather in fashion, so I wanted to abstract and reinterpret a basketweave pattern in a few of the rugs,' Drew explains.
As for the collection's color palette, Drew found inspiration in the art world. 'I came across a beautiful French painting from the 1940s online that had a stunning palette that really spoke to me,' he explains. 'I pulled some color swatches directly from the painting to use as a starting point. Since I had already seen all of these colors together in one artwork, I knew they would feel cohesive in the same collection.'

Shades of brown, beige, green, and blue are strong throughout the collection, and provide an expression of color without feeling too bold or overpowering. 'I love using color, but the colors I choose are more muted earth tones, which feel more approachable and livable to me,' Drew tells me. 'Earth tones have been used throughout design history, so my rugs can work in a variety of eras and styles of homes.'
'This collection is like a chameleon: it can stand on its own, or it can blend seamlessly into a space,' Drew remarks. That said, each piece was thoughtfully designed to shape the atmosphere of a space – to make it feel lived in, layered, and truly like home.
'If I had to choose one word to describe the influence this collection will have in a room, I would say 'grounding',' Drew remarks. 'The rugs carry a sense of nostalgia you cannot quite put your finger on, and the colors connect back to nature.' As do the pillows, too. These pieces aren't secondary decor – they're defining features that ground a room with elegance and style.
