AboutThe Principal London
The latest hotel to open its doors in the capital is one with a history as rich as its decor. The Principal London, which occupies an impressive Grade II*-listed building that was once the Hotel Russell, now offers guests understated glamour. The interiors of this grande dame, sensitively redesigned by Tara Bernerd & Partners, are beautifully simple. Room schemes, which exude an air of quiet luxury thanks to a layered palette of rich taupe and cream, all feature a trademark red telephone, while artwork has been carefully chosen in a nod to the hotel's local Bloomsbury heritage.
