I'm channelling gothic nostalgia with this designer Halloween collab – it'll bring Practical Magic vibes to your table and is on sale now, but not for long
Take your pick of this Catherine Martin tableware from Anthropologie before it vanishes – it's glamorous, intriguing, and only offer for a limited time

From Practical Magic to The Witches of Eastwick, there's nothing like a good nostalgic witch story to create a bit of gothic atmosphere, and with Halloween around the corner, I'm lining these movies up for my watch list as I type. So, when I spotted the Catherine Martin's Midnight Creatures collection for Anthropologie, it instantly brought my movie-inspired Halloween decor ideas to life. Catherine is an Oscar-winning costumier and set designer, so the connection tracks.
What's more, it is currently on sale, with some really good discounts. The glazed stoneware pitcher is a real statement piece and has over $25 off, while there's 30% off barware such as this cobweb tray - both would be wonderful additions to a sophisticated Halloween bar set up. However it is only on sale for a limited time, so I'm getting my hands on my favorite pieces before they go up in a puff of smoke, like something from one of those classic Halloween movies.
As a costume designer, Catherine has incorporated a hefty dose of gothic glamor into her Midnight Creatures Collection. Motifs, inspired by 19th century illustrations, such as feathers (the decaled goblet glass is so chic), moths, and spiders, tap into the witchy aesthetic. This is set off by mix of metallics and sophisticated matte black stoneware, that ooze Morticia Addams-style luxe.
There's a big focus on barware in the Catherine Martin collection and I can see myself using lots of the pieces for hosting all year round, from the stunning brass moth cocktail shaker to the feather glazed stoneware serving platter, which would look perfect on a coffee table or mantel when not in use for serving appetizers.
The Catherine Martin Midnight Creatures collection is a stunning and versatile range that will turn heads for Halloween and serve you well long after, as well, making it a good investment – especially while it's discounted. Here are my must-haves:

This plate calls for a seriously decadent dessert (no complaints, here!). The design was inspired by 19th-century anatomical illustration, and the gold adds an unexpectedly luxe twist.
Never forget which is your drink again with these bejewelled wine charms, inspired by creepy creatures and crafted from wire and colored glass for a touch of elegance.
The subtle feather detailing has a touch of 1920s glamor to it, while the gold rim finished this glassware off with a luxe flourish – perfect for serving up retro cocktails
Featuring a blend of saffron and cinnamon with warm tonka and birchwood, this candle will bring a heady seasonal aroma to the table (or mantle if you prefer), while the gold spider holder makes it a statement piece.
The striking design of this matte black and gold decaled bowl makes it perfect for styling your entire tablescape around. Pile it high with gold-wrapped candies or deep red fruit for a dramatic look.
The feather detail of the glassware is mirrored here in these cocktail napkins, which add a real touch of class to the table with the subtle pattern and metallic edging.
