I’m not waiting for Black Friday, I’m buying my Christmas tree in October – these early Prime Day deals are too good to miss
You can score huge discounts on natural-looking and pre-lit trees on Amazon right now, so why wait?

It might only be October, so for those last-minute planners amongst you, the idea of buying your Christmas tree now might send you into a tailspin. But, hear me out. When it comes to the holidays, a little planning ahead can really pay off. And I mean literally. I'm strongly in the plan ahead camp and busy compiling Christmas tree ideas already, and I can safely say that the early Prime Day discounts on Christmas trees at Amazon, could convince even the most reluctant planners to get ahead, and save hundreds of dollars.
Of course, when it comes to Christmas trees themselves, there are also two camps. those devoted to real trees, and others who prefer the ease of an artificial version. While there's nothing quite as magical as the sight and scent of a real fir tree in my living room, I'm determined to pull off a low-maintenance Christmas this year (hence the forward-planning), and there are some incredible artificial trees on sale at Amazon ahead of Prime Day.
It isn't always easy to choose the right Christmas tree, but it's all about comparing options. Whether you're hunting for a pre-lit version or you need to make a Christmas tree fit in a small space, you'll find an impressive selection on Amazon – though there's no guarantee these discounts will still be around for Black Friday (if that's what you're relying on).
So, while it might feel a little early to be shopping for Christmas trees, there really is no better time. Take it from me: the holiday rush will arrive in the blink of an eye, and you'll wish you'd taken advantage of these discounts on Christmas trees at Amazon when you had the chance.

If you're on the market for a no-frills tree that looks like the real thing, this could be the perfect choice. The 7-foot size is nearly 20% off, but you can also score $15 off the 6-foot alternative.
Balsam Hills trees are renowned for their quality, but they can be pricey. This petite (4.5ft) pre-lit version is ideal for small spaces and it's currently 33% off.
I'm a huge fan of pre-lit trees, and this one is a great choice: reviewers say it's beautiful and easy to set up, with plenty of evenly-distributed lights.
Save yourself so much time (and money) with a pre-lit and decorated tree: it's finished with artificial pinecones, berries, and a few frosted branches, as well as some twinkly string lights. Add a few baubles or bows if you wish as a finishing touch.
This is one of the most affordable pre-lit trees I've spotted, and it's garnered thousands of five-star reviews. There are different colorways and lighting options of offer, too.
I've browsed plenty of Christmas trees recently, but I have a real soft spot for this one: I love the simple white lights and the frosted branches and pine cones. You really need to do little else once it's up.
